Two Steps Forward. One Step Back... That's Called the Cha Cha!!
It's never a linear path forward. I had a couple of setbacks in the past week or so, but new opportunities shine through. My first sale wasn't... yet! They they asked for an invoice and knew the numbers. Since then, they haven't replied, even though I've tried calling and emailing. I'm planning on going to their office tomorrow to get an answer one way or the other. Lesson... Get the deposit at the meeting. Second... The BNI chapter that I applied for rejected my application. Their loss. HMMM That's two steps backward... BUT... This week... the wins. 1. I am closing a GHL account with 2 months free and a healthy ongoing. This will be a big client long-term, with full CRM functionality. 2. I met a grant consultant who NEEDS bots and some workflows and automations that I already created a couple of years ago. Meeting again next week with him and his IT director to close the deal. 3. Met a web designer who was referred by a BNI contact. The designer's main target clients are home service and construction companies with $2-10 Million annual sales. Not only did he love the idea of offering what I do to his clients, he is introducing me to his company's CEO to get set up themselves. Cha Cha Cha!!!

@Ian McIntosh “The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!” ~ Rocky Balboa
H7 Networking Group - anyone been?
I discovered this group while perusing meetup.com. Apparently similar to BNI, with free first visits, annual dues, and membership requirements. They have BOTH in-person and virtual meetups, so it could potentially be more beneficial than a local-only group like BNI. I'm planning to attend my first event this Friday morning. Looks like it could be a great opportunity. In the meantime, anyone have any direct experience with this group? https://www.h7network.com/ @Jeff Lopez @Charles Guerra @Ian McIntosh Would it be too weird to bring a laptop or an iPad and play an AI avatar video of myself speaking instead of talking during my elevator pitch? (only half kidding - I'm adding AI Avatar creation as an additional service, as it dovetails nicely with AI voice + chat)

@Flattline Johnson Dude take a breath! I frequently listen to audio at 1.5x because I'm impatient. BUT one thing I know, from doing training classes, training videos, belonging to Toastmasters for many years -- this is WAY too fast. Fast sounds nervous. Found doesn't sound confident. Speak at a speed you would talk to your mom. Or grandmother. As the US Navy Seals say: "Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast..."

@Flattline Johnson An indirect analogy from when I taught live classes. When I wanted the class to pay close attention, I would WHISPER. When you yell (and speaking quickly is a form of yelling) you turn users off. When you whisper, they lean in to listen closely.
My First AI Avatar Clone Video
I spent some time in the last couple weeks (during the Snowpocalypse) to create my own AI Avatar using HeyGen and ElevenLabs. Initially, I was doing it to create Money Looms at scale without having to film them all individually. As an "AI Expert" it's yet another AI-based service I can provide. I charge a video and audio recording fee, generate the ElevenLabs voice and HeyGen avatar, then contract to produce X videos per month for MRR. I can write the scripts as well... I may include it in the cost of generating the videos, or charge an upsell. I was inspired by Julia McCoy's "Dr McCoy" clone on her YouTube channel. This was created using her tactics. Watch the video and let me know what you think. (BTW, it's good content for those of you getting ready to get ready...)

$100k per year Revenue Streams
Saw this over on Charlie Morgan's "Imperium Academy" Skool group. Puts selling and scaling into perspective. ***** A couple $100K/year revenue streams for your inspiration. Get 10,000 people to buy a $10 product. Get 5,000 people to buy a $20 product. Get 2,000 people to buy a $50 product. Get 1,000 people to buy a $100 product. Get 300 people to buy a $333 product. Get 200 people to buy a $500 product. Get 100 people to buy a $1,000 product. Get 50 people to buy a $2,000 product. Want to do it in a subscription? Get 5,000 people to pay $2 per month, for 12 months. Get 2,000 people to pay $4 per month, for 12 months. Get 1,000 people to pay $8 per month, for 12 months. Get 500 people to pay $17 per month, for 12 months. Get 300 people to pay $28 per month, for 12 months. Get 200 people to pay $42 per month, for 12 months. Get 100 people to pay $83 per month, for 12 months. Get 50 people to pay $167 per month, for 12 months. Want different modalities? → 300 subscription customers at $28/month, retained. → Make 6 sales a day at $45 a pop. → Make 1 sale a day for $270 a pop. → Mentor/coach/work with 17 new students a month at $490 each one time. → Work 15 hours a week at $125/hour ***** It's all in the numbers, folks. AND, rather than necessarily setting goals, try to set ACTIVITY GOALS. For example: Talk to 100 people, get 30 appts, get 10 to show up, get one sale. If it takes you a month to talk to 100 people, you'll get one sale a month. However, if it takes you a single DAY to talk to 100 people, you'll get ONE SALE A DAY. Want to make $100k? Talk to enough people. Let's make it relevant to offers many of us may be using: 💰 $100K Revenue TargetOffer: $1,000 Setup + $297/month 📦 Year 1 Value Per Client (if retained 12 months) $1,000 setup - $297 × 12 = $3,564= $4,564 total per client 🎯 How Many Clients to Hit $100,000? If average retention is 12 months:Revenue per client = $4,564You need 22 clients≈ 2 per month If average retention is 10 months:Revenue per client = $3,970You need 25 clients≈ 2 per month
