Monday check in time
What is the one thing you want to learn or improve this week? Comment anything you have: A link A single frame A prompt A rough idea you are still figuring out Even a stuck point you cannot get past I will jump in and help you move it forward. And if you comment, do one more thing - reply to one other person in here with a helpful thought, a suggestion, or even just encouragement.

@Paul Despins Gotcha. Yes I run into that as well. Lately I have been using Veo3 and Wan 2.5 in Higgsfield. When 1 of them doesn't give me what I want, the other one usually does. I am actually starting to really like Wan 2.5. But what you said definitely makes sense.

Weekly Check-in: What’s on your timeline?
Hey everyone! It’s Monday, and I’d love to see what the lab is cooking up. What are you working on this week? Prompt experiment? Short film? Mastering a new tool? Drop a comment and let us know. I’m sharing a few stills from a personal project I’ve been chipping away at in my spare time. It’s a piece about life. Would love to see what you’re all creating!

Hey @Cameron Pierron I am learning how to use DaVinci and working on an episode of a series called "Mirror Me" that will be played on Roku and Fire TV. It is not close to being finish but here is a little bit of the intro that I am working on. Keep in mind this intro is not even remotely close to be finished at all. Just wanted to share a bit of what I am working on.
📢 THE AI FILMMAKER CHALLENGE: Direct the Next Global Ad
Filmmakers, it is time to move from practice to production. This is a chance to push into new territory and make something that feels real. A short film that captures what AI Filmmaker Lab is about and if it hits, it gets turned into an actual ad. THE PRIZE: YOUR FILM, CAMERON’S BUDGET 1. The winning film will be ran on Cameron’s personal Meta account with real ad spend behind it 2. You earn 40 percent affiliate commission for every member who joins the Lab through your film 3. If it converts, it can become a real recurring revenue stream for you THE BRIEF: CHOOSE YOUR SCRIPT Pick one direction and build your film around it. You can use the script word for word, or tweak it to fit your voice and pacing. Just keep the core idea intact. OPTION A: THE AUTEUR “A camera is just a box that captures light. An AI is just a box that calculates pixels. Neither one can tell you where to put the soul. Everyone is worried that AI will make filmmaking easy. They are wrong. AI makes filmmaking accessible, but it makes storytelling harder. When anyone can generate a beautiful shot, the only thing that matters is why you made it. The mood. The intention. The frame. In AI Filmmaker Lab, we do not teach you how to click buttons. We teach you how to command a vision. Because in a world of infinite imagery, the only thing of value is your perspective. Do not just generate. Direct.” OPTION B: THE EVOLUTION “First, we painted on walls. Then, we captured light on silver and glass. Now, we are directing with pure thought. The medium is shifting, but the craft remains the same. Composition still matters. Pacing still matters. Emotion is still the only metric of success. AI Filmmaker Lab is for the creators who refuse to be left behind. We are building cinematic sequences at the speed of thought. No more waiting for someday. No more asking for permission. If you have the vision, we have the workflow. Your story starts now.” DELIVERABLES - A short film that communicates what AI Filmmaker Lab is about - Voiceover based on Option A or Option B - Visuals are 100 percent AI generated cinematic sequences - Maximum length: 45 seconds. Shorter is better - Frame rate: 24 fps - Any aspect ratio is allowed: 1080 x 1080, 1080 x 1920, 1920 x 1080, or ultra widescreen - Logo: I am attaching the transparent alpha channel AI Filmmaker Lab logo. If you can integrate it as an end card when the VO says AI Filmmaker Lab, amazing. If not, that is totally fine

Hmmmm 🤔....interesting
6 Seconds in New York
I just got back from NYC and wanted to recreate the sights and the sounds of that trip using AI. This is a fast edit built from a bunch of AI video clips, and the whole point was simple: How real can I make it feel? Headphones on. Tell me what shot gives it away.

@Cameron Pierron Thank you Cameron for the feedback. Question for you - When you are saying that the timing felt off with the transition moment, is it that it lasted too long or the sound did not match what was happening? I am working on really tightening the timing up with my work. Can the story be told in its totality with a shorter piece?

@Paul Despins Thank you. I will work on switching it up a bit this weekend.
