EYES... DO YOU NOTICE THEM?
Most people think eye tension is just from screens or being tired. But very often, eye tension is also a nervous system pattern. Because your eyes are not just for seeing. Your eyes are part of how your body tracks safety. They are constantly asking: What’s happening around me? Do I need to prepare? Do I need to protect myself? SHARE👇 YOUR OBSERVATIONS 👇

In reflection, I find my eyes regulate what I let in outer senses or feel from inner senses ... they are a gatekeeper for me. Closed eyes vs open eyes focus time. More ... though that's bottom line.
DAY 5- WHAT DOES MY BODY NEED?
HURRAY — LAST DAY 🎉 We made it. You’ve noticed your body. You’ve noticed your breath. You’ve noticed your thoughts. You’ve noticed your reactions. And now we arrive at the most important question: What does my body need? 👉 Why This Matters Awareness is powerful. But awareness without response… keeps you observing, not changing. 👉 Today we begin to build something deeper: Self-trust. 👉 Whatever you feel… respond with something simple: 👉 If tight → move gently 👉 If restless → slow down 👉 If heavy → add small movement 👉 If anxious → long exhale 👉 If closed → soften the face 👉 If holding → sigh or sound Even 1–2 minutes is enough. This is the shift: From controlling the body → to listening to the body → to trusting the body Your body has been speaking to you all along. Now you are learning how to listen. And this is just the beginning. ✨✨✨

I've been doing a version of noticing body, breath for some years now ... what really came through in Zina's approach for me is relational works, and a major delusion of how my thoughts and reactions kept me stuck in non-attunement with self and others. I am amazed, and trying to see a course correct with hope. Looking forward to trying the body work. 🙃
DAY 2 — FIRST STEP CHALLENGE
NOTICE THE BREATH Today, we bring awareness to something you do all day…but rarely notice: Your breath. Your breath changes with your state. And your state changes with your breath. So today is not about fixing your breathing. It's about noticing how you breathe. Reminder You don’t need to breathe perfectly. You just need to notice how you breathe. Because: When you notice your breath, you begin to regulate your nervous system.

@Zina Zinchenko only during a few yoga classes over the years. I'm reading here, that you emphasize vocalizations .... which sends memories to younger me (child until maybe 30s) I would go about my day (professional work or about town) making little hummings. I need to prompt myself during my day to get that back, it REALLY brought good energies! 🤗 Not sure why it left. 🙃

@Robby Ron son thanks for that ... I will reflect on that more for myself. On first impression, it was during, after a major shift in my dynamics (life rhythm) ... like it was silenced. I'm looking to finding this part and being with it a bit ... as Zina said ... to invite it back into my flow, when it's ready.
Your VOICE is not just sound. It’s a regulation tool.
If you have: 👉 Tight jaw 👉 Lump in throat 👉 Shallow breathing 👉 Fear of speaking 👉 Vocal fatigue 👉 Neck tension Your nervous system may be in a protective state. The vagus nerve runs through the throat and vocal cords. Humming, sighing, and making sound can help move the body out of freeze and into safety. 👉 Try this today: 1 minute humming 5 long sighs Long “AHH” sound Jaw relaxed Tongue relaxed Then notice what changes in your body.

Although my back is resting against a supported situation, afterwards I felt my shoulders and ears open space (excess energy left). Thanks for this sequence.

My senses seem to have much to contribute over my ages and stages and phases of life. This (body knows) approach I hope is a good fit.
