God Sees You
Seen, Known, and Set FreePsalm 31:7–8 “I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul… You have set my feet in a spacious place.” There is a kind of pain that words can’t fully carry. You can explain the situation—but not the weight of it.You can describe what happened—but not how it feels inside. In Psalm 31:7-8 I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul, and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy. You have set my feet in a broad place. David doesn’t pretend everything is fine. He speaks honestly about affliction and deep inner anguish. But what changes everything is this: - God saw him.God knew him. Not just the facts—but the feelings. - God sees what others miss.He understands what others can’t fully grasp. He is not distant from your pain, .He is present in it.Then comes the promise, “You have set my feet in a spacious place.” - God doesn’t leave you in the tight, suffocating place of distress. He leads you into space, room to breathe, think, and begin again. That spacious place may not come all at once, but it comes. Today, if you feel overwhelmed, unseen, or trapped in your circumstances, hold onto this truth: You are not invisible to God. Your pain is not ignored. This is not where your story ends. Lord, thank You for seeing me fully and knowing me deeply. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are present in my pain. Lead me out of the tight places and into the freedom only You can give. Help me trust that You are making room for me to breathe again. Amen.

This word hit so deeply. There’s a different kind of comfort that comes when you realize God doesn’t just see what happened — He sees the weight of it. The parts you can’t explain. The parts nobody else even notices. The parts you’ve carried in silence. Psalm 31 reminds me that God doesn’t wait for me to pretend I’m okay. He meets me in the real place — the tight place, the overwhelmed place — and then He leads me into a spacious place where I can breathe again. I needed this reminder today: I am seen. I am known. I am not abandoned in the hard place. And the same God who sees my anguish is the God who sets my feet on steady ground. Thank You, Lord, for being present in the places that feel too heavy for words. Lead me into the space You’ve prepared for me — the place of clarity, peace, and freedom. Amen.

I’m working on more events as well, and I can’t wait to see this community come alive. We’re just getting started — and we’re about to fire this place up. 🔥 Let’s build together!
Learning Something New Everyday
I want to tell you something that not many people know about me. I love to learn. Growing up I wasn't the person who liked study. When it came to passing classes, I did just enough to get by. Especially in high school. I was too busy hanging out with the guys, playing baseball and chasing girls. I did enough to graduate. My senior year I even had a severe asthma attack that kept me in the hospital for a week. Then I missed school for a week recovering, but doing homework from school. My Grannie passed away after I graduated and that's when I fell into darkness for next 15 years. In 2013 I gave my life to Christ and He saved me from dying. He called me to be a Christian counselor. You've heard that God qualifies the called. I decided to go to college and learn more on Christian counseling. I couldn't stop learning. I graduated with a Ph.D of Philosophy in Christian counseling. I maintained the attitude of wanting to keep learning. I have learned so much since becoming a Christian by people God has put in my life. Just the other day I learned something from @Calvin Hall that just blew me away. If you haven't had a chance to read his posts or talk to him, your missing out. He is a very wise man. Today I learned something about John 20:30. We have all read about Jesus performing miracles. Did you know the verse and next verse tells us He did so much more that is not in the Bible. Jesus told us enough and people at that time to believe in Him. Yet there were still people who didn't believe in Him after seeing these miracles. Questions I have: Did you learn something new today? Would you believe in someone who performed a miracle right in front of you?

This was such a powerful testimony to read. The way you shared your journey — from barely getting by in school, to walking through years of darkness, to God completely transforming your life — it really shows how patient and intentional He is with us. Only God can take someone from survival mode to purpose like that. Your hunger to learn now is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in you. And the fact that you went all the way to earning a Ph.D. after once doing “just enough” is nothing but grace and calling in motion. That part about John 20:30 blessed me too. It’s humbling to realize that the miracles we know about are only a fraction of what Jesus actually did. He gave us enough to believe — and He’s still moving today. To answer your questions: Did I learn something new today: Yes — and your post added another layer to it. Would I believe a miracle happening right in front of me: Absolutely. I’ve seen God do things that no human could ever take credit for.
Why Demons Fear Psalm 91
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” I hope you read that out loud! If not, GO BACK AND READ IT OUT LOUD! Demons HATE when we speak Psalm 91! Here's why! Psalm 91 is not just a song or a prayer, it is a very powerful prayer; a legal declaration of Heaven's protection! Every line destroys fear! Every word activates angels! Thus, Hell TREMBLES WITH FEAR when a believer speaks it with FAITH! So, I'll ask you again... did you read it OUT LOUD and declare war against the demons of Hell or did you just read it quietly to yourself?

Psalm 91 is one of those chapters that shifts the entire atmosphere when you speak it out loud. Every line is a reminder of who covers us, who fights for us, and who commands angels on our behalf. No wonder the enemy hates it — it’s a legal declaration of protection, authority, and covenant. Reading it out loud hits different. It settles your spirit. It silences fear. It reminds darkness that it has no claim here. Thank you for this reminder. I needed to speak it with fresh authority today. He is my refuge. He is my fortress. And I will dwell in His shelter.
All Things Are Possible
Matthew 19:26 ESV But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” God is actually responding to his disciples' shock and concern. Just before this, a rich young man came to Jesus asking what he needed to do to gain eternal life. Jesus told him to sell his possessions and give to the poor, which the man was unwilling to do. The disciples then asked Jesus, "Who then can be saved?" because they understood how difficult it was for someone with many worldly attachments (like wealth) to follow Jesus's radical call. "With man this is impossible": -This refers to our human limitations, our inability to achieve salvation or truly transform ourselves through our own efforts or material possessions. It highlights that no amount of wealth, status, or good deeds done in our own strength can earn us entry into God's kingdom. • "but with God all things are possible": This is the hopeful and crucial part! It means that what we can't do, God absolutely can. He can change hearts, overcome our human weaknesses and provide the way to salvation and transformation. John 14:6 ESV Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. It emphasizes God's omnipotence and grace, offering hope that even in seemingly impossible situations (like a rich man giving up everything, or any person overcoming their sin nature), God's power can make it happen. Essentially, it's a profound statement about divine power overcoming human limitation, reminding us that salvation and true change are ultimately God's work, not ours. Your good works, money, or your status will not get you into Heaven. I've seen a young girl who was diagnosed with scoliosis after one scan, then after prayer her spine completely straight on another exam. A co worker of mine diagnosed stage 4 lung cancer who went through chemo and radiation treatment with no succes. Led to Houston by the Holy Spirit to find a different oncologist. He found one who suggested stem cell replacement. My friend has been cancer free for over 10 years.

This was powerful. Matthew 19:26 always reminds me that God specializes in the places where human ability ends. Hearing the testimonies you shared — the spine straightening, the stage 4 cancer healing — it strengthens my faith even more. Those are the kinds of miracles only God can do. I love how you broke down the scripture too. It’s true — we can’t save ourselves, fix ourselves, or transform ourselves in our own strength. But God can. And He still does. Thank you for sharing this. It’s a reminder that nothing in our lives is too big, too broken, or too impossible for Him. With God, all things are truly possible.
