Repeat or Fulfill
If someone told our church handyman, “Take this brush and gallon of paint, go outside and paint the pastor’s name on the church sign”, and he went outside and wrote “The pastors name” on the sign, he might get fired! They don’t mean for him to repeat their instructions, they intend for him to fulfill their instructions. They meant for him to write “Calvin Hall” on the church sign. Matthew 28:19 are the instructions. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." In water baptism, the apostles didn’t repeat Jesus’ instructions, they fulfilled His instructions. In every example in the Book of Acts they properly fulfilled the instructions to ”baptize in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” by evoking the name of Jesus in baptism. Don’t repeat the instructions - fulfill the instructions!!

NOT MY GOD!
If your God only loves Black people and no one else, that’s not my God. If your god only loves White people, that’s your God, not mine. My God is the God of all. He created all, and nowhere in His Gospel does He tell me that someone’s skin color reduces their value. Nowhere does it tell me that one’s politics dictates the level of the love of Christ I share with them. The Gospel tells me to share the same love with the rich as I do to the homeless. The Gospel does not tell me to hate people who don’t live or think like me. That’s your Gospel. My Gospel tells me to simply love. Now it doesn’t mean agree with everything and everyone. It just instructs me to love, and if you are in my presence, that’s always available to you; as well as a figurative butt-whoopin’ should you cross the line (still working on that turn the other cheek thing LOL). Unconditional love is not easy to do in our flesh. Yet it’s not my job as a believer to study the Gospel to suit my angst against others. It is to do as it says to the best of my ability. AMEN.
God Sees You
Seen, Known, and Set FreePsalm 31:7–8 “I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul… You have set my feet in a spacious place.” There is a kind of pain that words can’t fully carry. You can explain the situation—but not the weight of it.You can describe what happened—but not how it feels inside. In Psalm 31:7-8 I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul, and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy. You have set my feet in a broad place. David doesn’t pretend everything is fine. He speaks honestly about affliction and deep inner anguish. But what changes everything is this: - God saw him.God knew him. Not just the facts—but the feelings. - God sees what others miss.He understands what others can’t fully grasp. He is not distant from your pain, .He is present in it.Then comes the promise, “You have set my feet in a spacious place.” - God doesn’t leave you in the tight, suffocating place of distress. He leads you into space, room to breathe, think, and begin again. That spacious place may not come all at once, but it comes. Today, if you feel overwhelmed, unseen, or trapped in your circumstances, hold onto this truth: You are not invisible to God. Your pain is not ignored. This is not where your story ends. Lord, thank You for seeing me fully and knowing me deeply. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are present in my pain. Lead me out of the tight places and into the freedom only You can give. Help me trust that You are making room for me to breathe again. Amen.

Why Demons Fear Psalm 91
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” I hope you read that out loud! If not, GO BACK AND READ IT OUT LOUD! Demons HATE when we speak Psalm 91! Here's why! Psalm 91 is not just a song or a prayer, it is a very powerful prayer; a legal declaration of Heaven's protection! Every line destroys fear! Every word activates angels! Thus, Hell TREMBLES WITH FEAR when a believer speaks it with FAITH! So, I'll ask you again... did you read it OUT LOUD and declare war against the demons of Hell or did you just read it quietly to yourself?
