Bow Collection
I believe most of us have a pretty good bow collection. I have about 20 give or take - I know, I'm a lightweight compared to some. What is the most unique or valuable bow in your collection? I rescued this Howatt from a pawn shop 30 years ago. The finish was all but gone and the bow was in rough shape. I bought it for $40 as a project. It's stamped 50# on the inside of the sight window. The belly has the bi-directional glass. Pretty sure it was built in the late 1950s but don't really know. I count this one as my most unique bow. How about you?

@Grant Richardson not much to report. Weaker than normal rut. Had a couple close but not close enough. Saw some very large bulls.
Arrows! Let see em!
Winter is my time to build arrows! I can take my time and get right into the process and art of crafting not only the cresting and fletching but tuning part as well. Let’s see your favourite colours, combos and arrows! Here are a few of my fav! The orange is a fav standout for my heavier deer setup. The barred natural turkey is my throwback vintage all time favorite simple and natural camo I currently use. The blue and yellow combo are a set of arrows I made for my wife with a set of cougar tracks following deer tracks on the cresting.

Stickbow Confidence
Confidence Through Repetition will develop your Bowhunting skills! If you view you're bow as a struggle stick it will become one. 1. Develop muscle memory through consistent practice, allowing your body to perform the shot process with a consistent process that works for you and the bow you shoot! 2. *Repetition breeds confidence*: The more you practice, the more confident you'll become in your ability to make a clean shot. Mental Preparation 1. *Focus on the process*: Concentrate on the shot process, rather than worrying about the outcome. 2. *Positive self-talk*: Encourage yourself with positive affirmations, such as "I've got this" or "I'm prepared." 3. *Visualization*: Visualize yourself making a successful shot, which can help build confidence and mental toughness. By incorporating these principles into your stickbow shooting practice, you can cultivate the confidence needed to become a proficient and effective archer and Bowhunter.

Grant I completely agree. I've always thought the term Struggle Stick in reference to stick bows is ridiculous. It's no struggle - frustrating at times for sure, but no struggle. The process is part of the fun in my opinion. Besides, I've watched just as many compound shooters struggle with their equipment. John Maxwell puts it perfectly - "many good things are on the other side of hard".
