The number 6 shows up in ages like 36, 46, and 56. And for whatever reason, those numbers always hit differently. Thirty-six is closer to 40 than it is to 30. Forty-six is closer to 50 than it is to 40. And fifty-six is closer to 60 than it is to 50. For the past few years, I’ve been closer to 50 than I was to 60. But today?
