Understanding "Purchase" vs. "Conversions" in Google Ads?
Hey everyone, I’m running some Performance Max campaigns and have set "Purchase" as my account’s default goal conversion for all PM campaigns. However, I’ve noticed some discrepancies between "Conversions" and "Purchase" metrics in my reports. 1. How is "Purchase" different from "Conversions" in Google Ads? 2. Why is there a difference in the reported values of Conversions and Purchases? 3. I even have one campaign where there are 34.25 Conversions, but 0 Purchases—why could this be happening? 4. Also, why do I see decimal values for "Purchase" and "Conversions" instead of whole numbers? @Austin LeClear @Stephen Gache @Steve Cox @Mushfiq Khan @KLee Terrazas

Google Ads Automations? Concerns About Frequent Learning Phases
Is it beneficial to enable these automations in Google Ads? I turned them off because I feel Google makes changes too quickly, causing my ads to enter the learning phase daily, which I don’t find ideal. @Stephen Gache What's your thoughts and experience on this.

Help to Create a Pmax-only feed
Hi everyone. I'm trying to create a Pmax feed only, which I saw on the youtube channel grow my ads, but I'm not able to. Could someone give me a tip on how to create it? I tried to create it with filled assets and then duplicate it, to create a new one without information, but Google requires a minimum filling of titles and phrases. Could someone help me?

Conversion goals for campaign performance optimisation
Hi everybody! How can I determine the most effective conversion goals to track and optimize if my primary objective is to drive visitors to my website and encourage them to purchase some products? Many thanks!

@Alex Tarlev If you're running an eCommerce store and your Google Ads account is new with no past conversion data, start by creating a Merchant Center account and uploading your products. Then, launch two campaigns: a traffic ad and a shopping campaign, setting the purchase as your primary goal. Aim to achieve 30 conversions through the shopping campaign within a month. Additionally, set up Meta Ads by installing the Pixel on your website, defining your conversion goals, and running sales ads. This will allow you to remarket to visitors who arrived through Google traffic ads but didn’t make a purchase.

@Alex Tarlev Actually, in the photo above, I don’t see a purchase goal. For eCommerce, you need to set "Add to Cart" and "Begin Checkout" as secondary goals, while "Purchase" should be the primary goal. If you need some help or suggestion let me know we can do Google Meet and resolve the issues together for free of cost.
CPA vs. TROAS Strategy for PM Campaigns with 3,000 Products
I have a total of 3,000 closely related products. Among them, 1,000 products generate consistent sales, while the remaining 2,000 haven't had any sales in the last 6 months. My plan is to run the 1,000 best-selling products with a CPA strategy and the remaining 2,000 products with a TROAS strategy. Is it good strategy? Note both strategy within PM campaigns.
