Definitely feel guilty on rest days when I havenβt got a race to focus on. Find it hard to stay consistent when outside commitments take priority. Entered the GNR π€π€π€so hoping to have a real focus then! If unsuccessful will enter some local 10ks to keep that consistency and my running a priority π
Currently on holiday, so decided to try some of the activities including yoga and Pilates, havenβt done enough to see a difference to running yet, but made a nice change. Inspired to join a class when home π did a few treadmill runs at the gym, bit too hot to run outside, but got in a few off road marches!
Really wish I could meditate, and have friends who swear by it, unfortunately I find it difficult to zone out and find myself getting frustrated thinking of all the things I could be getting on with π€¦π»ββοΈπ«£
Happy Friday all! 1. Achieved the goals Iβd set myself this week. 2. Prioritised my running goals and exercise goals as equally as my work and general life commitments, something I struggle to do. 3. Even though it was a challenge trying to fit everything in, I actually felt a lot happier and content having made time for things I enjoy π
