What if âmidlifeâ didnât start at 45⌠but at 36?
With life expectancy in the U.S. around 72â74, that means real midlife is closer to 36â38. That hit me hard when I thought about it. It made me realize: so many of us wait until âsomedayâ â retirement, when the kids are grown, when life feels more stable â to finally start living, creating, and taking care of our health. But what if weâre waiting so long that we run out of time, energy, or freedom to enjoy it? Iâve seen how weâre trained into the script: school, career, family, house, debt, repeat. And somewhere along the way, creativity, fun, and joy get replaced with stress and survival. But what if we flipped that? What if today was the time to start living fully â to create joy, to color outside the lines, to care for our health and passions now, not later? Question for you:If today is your real life (not the rehearsal), whatâs one thing youâd do differently starting this week?
