Whenever you were starting to cold call for the first time, did you first learn on the internet or did you jump into the cold calls right away?

We all know that cold calling is something we need to be consistent with. But some days you just simply feel like staying in the shadows (emails and dm's) only and skip it. Do you have any rituals or ways of gaining motivation when it is needed the most? (My personal secret is Playlist on spotify called "Kickass motivation" with clips from all the TED talks out there. 10 minutes of that baby and I'm ready to smile and dial)
