GMB Scam Calls
Not sure if this is something that anyone can really help with, but I am writing on a very important issue with my client's new business number, one that I had not reckoned for. This week, I just set up my first client's business number on their google page so that I could use the voice ai service and so I could track the total calls. Unfortunately, voice ai is very expensive (almost 10 cents a minute). This, of course, is a price I'm willing to pay if it helps my client close more customers, but right now, I am getting a bunch of robo calls to that number that are scam calls saying that I need to update my Google listing. Does anyone have any experience with dealing with these calls so that they don't keep wasting the minutes? Is there a way to get rid of them?

@Alysianna Smith IVR can conflict with Voice AI, and number intelligence only filters so much. The cleanest way is a quick pre-screen step before AI ever picks up. I can help you set it up so those scam calls stop burning minutes. Want me to handle it for you

@Alysianna Smith Perfect, we can add a quick pre-screen before Voice AI picks up, like a “press 1 to continue,” to block scam calls and only let real leads through. I can set it up for you so it runs automatically. Want me to do that?
Website template question
Just wondering if anyone knows if using the same text on more than one website still affects Google results? I think that it’s awesome to have all of the website templates with variables to dynamically customize the sites, but in the past, I had seen information that said if two or more sites had the exact same text, both would be removed from Google search results, and I’m sure this happened to a site of mine in the past. Is this no longer the case? Or has there been no issue with SEO on template sites with the same text?

@Lu Dan Hey Dan, I actually ran into this recently with a client. Google doesn’t remove sites for using the same template text, it just won’t rank all of them equally if the copy is identical. It’ll usually choose one version and suppress the others. What I did for my client was adjust only the key sections (headline, a few headers, service descriptions) and that was enough for every site to index without issues. You don’t need to rewrite the whole thing. If I may ask, How many sites are you planning to duplicate?

Twilio number integration with GHL
I need to buy a Twilio number because I’ll be using an external Voice AI provider (Retell/Vapi) — mainly for outbound calls outside the US. Here’s the issue: How do I connect a Twilio number to GHL so that: incoming SMS messages sent to that Twilio number appear inside Conversations, I can reply to them normally from GHL? Older instructions and tutorials don’t work anymore (the “API Keys” tab is gone, and the option to add your own Twilio inside Phone Settings has been removed). I only see “Twilio Account Read” under Custom Integrations, but it doesn’t allow adding or managing numbers. Has anyone figured out the current working method to: connect/import a Twilio number into GHL, receive + reply to SMS, and still use that number with an external Voice AI workflow? Any updated guidance would be highly appreciated.

@Maks Snieg Hey Maks, I feel you mate . I’m a store owner too, and I ran into this exact Twilio and GHL problem a few weeks ago. HighLevel removed the old setup route, so nothing was syncing into Conversations, and my AI calls couldn’t run properly either. I eventually found an expert who fixed the whole thing for me, he set it up so my Twilio number now receives SMS inside GHL and still works with my external AI provider. Zero issues since. If you want, I can link you with the same guy who helped me.

Hey everyone 👋 I’m trying to connect FareHarbor with GoHighLevel through n8n, so when someone makes a booking, it automatically creates an appointment inside GHL. Everything is set up correctly — the data comes through from FareHarbor, and all fields map properly. But when I run a test booking, GHL returns this error: “The slot you have selected is no longer available.” Even though I’m sure that the time slot is free. Has anyone faced this issue before or knows how to fix it?

@Nurbai Myrza Hey Nurbai, I’ve run into this before when connecting booking systems to GHL. Usually, it’s either a timezone mismatch or the time format not lining up perfectly with GHL’s calendar, which makes it think the slot is taken. One thing that usually helps, make sure the time coming from FareHarbor matches GHL’s timezone and format, and double-check there aren’t any placeholder or test appointments blocking that slot. Are you mapping this for one calendar or multiple calendars?
VA or Contractor?
I've taken on a project to replace a nonprofit's associations crm. They will need websites built, email campaigns, workflow and automation to help run their business, primarily invoice memberships, continuing education, and holding events. I will be looking for talented individuals to help with the build out. Do you know anyone or are you someone who might be interested in some work? Where do you find people like this?
