After having a phone interview yesterday, I got a call back today asking to come in for an in-person interview. Heck yes. This is nuts it’s all happening so fast. The interview is next Friday. For context, I’m making a career transition and have never actually done any IT jobs. This will be my first. The email said “…there will be a short skills assessment following the interview” What kinds of skills do you think they would be assessing? Also, any tips for face-to-face interviews for helpdesk positions?

2 things I have found to be absolute musts. 1) You really need to get the paid version. The free version has become useless. 2) There's tons of examples but you need to get some set of instructions in there for it to be honest and not just agreeable. Limit fluff and pointless context. I finally did number 2 and it make the dialogue so much more efficient. (South Park hit the nail on the head this week)
