I’m getting into government contracting because I see it as the perfect lane to solve real problems for agencies while building a serious, long-term business. I want to play at a higher level than just chasing quick money, learn the game, and position myself as a reliable partner the government can actually depend on. I cant wait to learn from this group and other and create my network and collab with others to growth.

I received this attachment from the DLA. Our company is still rather new with minimal procurement history from previous jobs. How can we ever be awarded a contract when all this is needed from a newbie? Has anyone else received this? If so were you new at the time? And how did you complete it?

Hi everyone, my name is Roniesa Moore. I’m based in Georgia and I’ve been working in the government contracting space for several years. I’ve successfully won contracts and have hands-on experience with the full process—from finding opportunities, analyzing solicitations, sourcing vendors, pricing, and submitting bids. I also support other businesses with structuring and positioning themselves to compete in this space. My current focus is scaling—building consistency, securing larger opportunities, and expanding partnerships within government contracting. One of my biggest challenges has been moving from smaller wins to more consistent, higher-value contracts.
