Since March, I started the process of signing up and getting set up in DIBBS, started registering in there. Everything was fine until I got to my FSC codes. I could put a few in there and planned on coming back later. Well later came and now I’m locked out of my account with this long letter sent to my email stating that I need to request reactivation of DIBBS account for my cage code. 😳😬 Has this ever happened to anyone else? I responded to every question they asked verifying the validity of my business. I’m telling you if it’s not one thing it’s always something else! 🤨🙄

A Contracting Officer reached out to me this asking for a traceability report for a part. I reached out to the distributor of the part and they responded back to me saying they are unable to provide traceability because the manufacturer does not offer documentation on parts. How true is this? Why would a manufacturer not provide traceability?

I received this attachment from the DLA. Our company is still rather new with minimal procurement history from previous jobs. How can we ever be awarded a contract when all this is needed from a newbie? Has anyone else received this? If so were you new at the time? And how did you complete it?
