How to produce images of our books in seconds
A+ content, Facebook, Instagram, your own website, TikTok, video ads... There are a lot of places where we need photos and videos featuring our books, but not enough time to produce them. Now, if you have an Amazon-formatted PDF with a cover and a manuscript, you can create the necessary materials for your book in seconds. What kind of images or videos will you create first?

@Stephen Shapiro Thanks for the recommend, I'll check it out. I've been using www.diybookcovers.com/3Dmockups/ since 2023 for producing book mockups for inserting into my A+ content. Obviously it's somewhat basic and you do need to have images of your front cover, spine and back cover as separate images, but it's free, and I've found it very useful when creating A+ content on Canva.
Covers Designer Hire: Which Set of Covers Do You Like Better?
Imagine you are creating a book about decluttering. If you hired two cover designers and gave them a task: Create a cover for a book about decluttering with the title: "Decluttering Made Simple. Subtitle: Practical Strategies to Organize Your Home and Achieve Peace from Clutter in Less than 10 Minutes a Day. By Kate Hansen." Designers returned with their concepts. What offer would you prefer as a prototype to continue with? Your ideas about the quality of designs? Cast your vote for the set you like better. ----- ⚠️ If you recognized some designs, NO SPOILERS please.

The cover on the far right (right hand set). I like the typography, the hierarchy - particularly emphasizing the "made simple" in orange to make that key phrase pop, as well as creating a relationship with that phrase and "less than 10 minutes a day". I think this would work really well when being shown as a thumbnail image too.
Analyze Competitors Reviews in a Few Clicks
It's crucial when planning a new book to analyze reviews of your top competitors' books to improve your own. Now you can do it in a few clicks with the Royalty Guild Review Collector. This free and extremely simple-to-use Chrome Extension allows you to collect all reviews from a page into temporary storage and then navigate to the next page. Once you've gathered all necessary reviews, simply download them as a CSV file to analyze with your LLM of choice. Just upload the attached "Review Analyze Prompt.md" file and the downloaded CSV file to Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT, and type "Execute the prompt." You will get a ton of insights for your niche. ❗Local versions (.de, .es, .fr, .it) are in the development pipeline.

That's amazing, Igor. Thank you for this 👏🏼👏🏼 I'm definitely going to use this on the book I'm publishing this week.
How to Move to a New Review Service with Minimal Risk
It seems we have a big shift in "authors-helping-authors" review services. Until yesterday, moving from one such service to another posed a risk, since a new service had no data about your reviews, and a cross-review situation could arise. And now we have a solution to minimize such risks. Yesterday, BookVillage presented its browser extension. It imports your existing reviews and allows the service to correctly configure your profile to prevent situations where two users may end up reviewing each other's books. Have you already tested it? What is your experience? A brief reminder: Guild members can access BookVillage under special conditions: - The first 30 days are free - Performance guarantee (if you didn't get enough reviews in the first month, you can ask for one more free month) - The next 2 months are 25% off ($15 a month) - A fixed price of $20 forever, as long as the subscription is active. Even if the price is raised for other users. To get the special conditions register by the link: https://bookvillage.pub/?via=guild

@Adriano Ferrigno the Book Village offering sounds most intriguing. I've tried 3 different review sites over the past 3 years and their process has been pretty disappointing and time consuming. Book Village sounds like it could be a notch above those. I'd love to move over but paid for another month's subscription just over a week ago. Once that is done I'll sign up with you. Just one question:- is the subscription the same for any number of books? I have 11 published to date. Many thanks

@Adriano Ferrigno Thank you, and I'll remember if course.

I've been self-publishing since 2022, with 12 books on KDP, including 6 non-fiction (1 doing very well), and 5 PDs, and more books to come.
