Everyone in my family suffered from the watch collecting addiction! My older son came home for mother's day yesterday and said "Hey Dad can I borrow 1 of your watches?". I said sure, but you know the rules!! In order to take one you have to leave one! 😎 This was a watch that he saved for and gifted to himself after receiving a big promotion at work, so it is a very special watch for sure. This is his favorite watch and he left it in my care, while he borrowed one of my speed masters, so I did what any rational father would do, I wore it today!! 😜 Hope you all have a great Monday!!

So is anyone else waiting and watching for what the APxSwatch will be? If they hadn't closed the local Swatch store I would own some. Sadly? They are reopening soon.

Among the watches the burglars took (none of the watches were really all that valuable, more sentimental value than anything else) they took my autistic son's beloved Casio. He was pretty bummed out. I have a beat old fake Omega that I was given. I asked him to clean it to get his mind off his watch. He raided my model paint box and came up with this. Interesting. Blasphemy, perhaps, but it's a fake... So, double blasphemy! Well, I proudly wear it most days. Oh, and he chose a Q&Q as his new watch. We're slowly returning to normalcy.

My brothers-in-law know of my love of watches and bought me two new ones. I am quite honored by the gift. One is a Timex Expedition and the other is an Orient. I didn't say anything about it being a quartz knock off. Real or not, I really appreciate the gesture. I guess I've got another modest collection. This is more than enough for now.
