Just say NO!!!
I was sitting in the backyard last night with my beautiful wife and we started talking watches. She has a similar affliction (spelled INTEREST) šŸ˜Ž I had mentioned that I was really looking at buying a Vortic watch. I had toured their facility in April of this year and met the owner at it really got me intrigued. Since then I have come to hear that the owner had a stroke at 34 yrs old and will take up to 3 years before he is able to resume where he was. I know his wife has taken control of the day to day and they have other watchmakers there building watches, but I was thinking about purchasing a watch both to satisfy my desire to have one, but to also help them in my small way. That being said my wife and I picked 3 that we liked, but because of other events in our life she spelled (We) decided to wait a little bit maybe a month or 2. She made very valid points šŸ™ That however, didn't stop me thinking about my short list of watches. They are pictured here and in no particular order. They cover a variety of price points, obviously the Omega Moon Watch has a very soft spot with me, but that will be way down the road if ever. I'm coming to the group to tell me these are all horrible choices and I should be committed or more seriously about your thoughts on each based on what you know about me and my collection so far. I'll call out @Warren Money @G R @James Milson @Robert Meyers @Chad Smith @Brett Sutton @Justin Tillery @Gunny Khan @David Denham Jr & @Oscar D Specifically but really want to hear from you all! And of course if you think I should have something else PLEASE tell me that too! šŸ˜Ž

My faves are numbers 1, 8, 7 and 5. So say no to 3. There. I helped. But only no if you wife is looking although it would be the 8th of 8 for me on this list lol. Sucks about the stroke. Heard about it. Prayers.

Broke out the orange seiko sports for golf today. It was ominous but turned out beautiful.

Great design and a great watch!
Spare parts
So, I've bought this watch online, a Longines Golden Wing. (Picture one) Only then I noticed it's missing a golden bezel. Also the wristband is pretty snuggy tight fitting. Until now I have not found any spareparts (I could not find a replacement bezel and a single piece of the wriststrap costs arround $ 70.-). (I have paid arround $ 180.- for the watch) Would you buy a second watch, just for the replacement parts? The second picture is the cheapest I have found so far. Offered as working, but from an eastern europe country, I'm cautious (on ebay with good ratings, but still). (It would be arround $150.- incl. shipping) -would you buy a second watch? -would you wait to find a cheaper one that's sold as non-working? -where else can I look for bezels if not on second hand platforms? -can a bezel be handmade? who does this? -and if the wristband is tight but symetrical, is it ok to add just one link, making it asymetrical? Sorry for the many questions. The watch still looks nice, but knowing it's missing a part is bugging me.
