Suggestion if you post a troubleshooting question about Plasticity☝️
Just a suggestion but if you’re stuck with a feature in plasticity it could get more replies if you make it into a video. (NOTE 🗒️ my go to for a quick and free screen recording is QuickTime.) not only is it a lot easier to see the chain of commands that you’re completing but I think it would be a lot more useful for anyone having a similar issue down the road. I’m still a newbie however from the post I’ve seen so far I really can’t tell what’s going on from just a regular screenshot and overall, I think a video would be a lot more interesting to learn from

Can I add to that? IF you don't want to record a video, but take a screenshot instead, it is better to show the full software UI instead of I tiny portion.. Sometimes things are turned off that are outside of the tiny area people share.
Seeking advice: Learning roadmap from basics to car modeling
Hi everyone! I’m new to this community and just beginning my journey into surface modeling. After going through Nikita’s 6-hour course and a few other basic tutorials, I've started to learn a little bit about the workflow, and things are finally starting to make some sense. I’ve been working on this hairbrush lately. My ultimate goal is to model my own car at a 1:43 scale. I’m primarily focused on the exterior design—it doesn't need to be professional industrial grade, but I do want it to be clean and accurate enough for high-quality 3d printing. Since there are so many courses available, I’m wondering which step to take next. Should I jump directly into the car modeling course (possibly not)? Or should I go through more foundational surfacing courses first to get a better hang of the essential principles? Which courses are must-haves? I’d really appreciate any advice on a roadmap that could help me reach my car modeling goal without building too many bad habits along the way.

@William Bourque I think that happens with every Software package!! I ever started using Photoshop 7. I had to do everything manually, giving me a lot of control.. Now-a-days everything has a tool. But if the tool is not sufficient enough, nobody knows how to make it. Maybe now they will use AI to fix it though.. But it is always good to know how things used to work if you want to take it a step further. I bought Studio almost right away, but I barrely have time to learn to use it.. Even the indie version haha.. At first my plan was to get the Indie license and after a year upgrade to Studio.. But I couldn't stop myself haha.. I always wished to be able to use and/or work with Autodesk AutoStudio, but this is the closest I will get financially.

@Davide Dainese I see!! From this view it looks like it dents in too much. But despite that you did one hell of a job already!! I still have to start the course!

Hey, any updates? Curious how it's going!!
Class A modeling
I've heard Nikita mention class a modeling many times in several different courses. It peaked my interest so I had a little look at what exactly that is. And holy sweet jesus... Don't get me wrong, this guy does an excellent job of explaining how to watch paint dry in slow motion.... Lolol. Enjoy thinking that next time you think Plasticity has a cumbersome and slow workflow. The description is also gold, "if you think this video is too fast..." https://youtu.be/323fmUgwMyI?si=aAd2l_47IJPuuTeA

for Class A you can look up Kuechmeister Swagger. He tries out Alias tricks/workflows in Plasticity.

@William Bourque Hahaha same here!! I started with Kuechmeister and ended up with Nikita. Which is not meant as an insult btw!!
