I am a 58 year old refusing to believe I am not still in my 30's haha. My main purpose of joining this group is to learn how to incorporate calisthenics in my gym routine. Keep the workouts fresh and fun. My first calisthenics goal would be to complete the front lever in the next few months. Took me about 5 months to take the ab roller from a kneeling to a standing position and I would like to take a similar approach. Working through a bit of golfers elbow right now. Pullups are fine but definitely feel a little pain with pushups. Any advice to work through that would be great. My IG: @robbeasant

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert Great advice. My challenge is not overdoing it. It can be tough to slow it down when I have a goal in mind. Especially when I am really enthusiastic about it. Thanks for reminding me to slow it down and that I am in this for the long haul
🎄 Advent Adventure – Day 7: Headstand Shapes 🔺✨
Today’s skill is Headstand Shapes, getting comfortable upside down and exploring control. We are continuing the theme of balance and working towards the handstand! This is about shape awareness, not how long you hold it. Pick your level: ✅ Beginner: Wall or tripod headstand 🔄 Explorer: Headstand leg shapes (tuck, straddle, stag) 🔥 Expert: Headstand → press negative or handstand entry attempts ⏱ 3–5 minutes is plenty. Move slowly and stay stacked. 🎥 Videos encouraged! Shape control looks awesome on camera. Post a ✅ or clip to complete Day 7 ❄️🔥

Man, I just tried a handstand and is way more tough than I thought it would be. Haven't tried one in 30 years, but was thinking it would be easy. I use to love doing handstands. I guess it's not like riding a bike haha Looking forward to the challenge
