🚀 The Power of Small Wins & Identity 🧠
Hey guys, as I was diving into some material for the courses I’m setting up, I came across something that hit home for me in a BIG way. It’s something that shaped my own journey, and I felt compelled to share because it’s real. 💡 Confidence is built through small wins. Discipline naturally follows. But even bigger than that? Identity. And identity is EVERYTHING when it comes to confidence and keeping promises to yourself. I remember watching a UFC documentary on Conor McGregor before his downfall—back when he had a strong self-identity. He didn’t even realize it, but he was basically explaining how building strong habits reinforces good dopamine responses 🏆. And that’s the key—understanding how much control you truly have over your mind. I can speak on this firsthand. As a college student grinding through 4 hours of daily transportation, hitting the gym every day, studying meticulously, and still making time for things like this community… 🔥 It builds a stack of evidence. I don’t need to convince myself who I am—I have PROOF. Or as Chris Williamson says, a “folder of evidence” that backs up my identity. 👉 So here’s my challenge to you: What small wins are YOU stacking today? Drop one thing you’re committing to in the comments—let’s build that folder together. 💪⬇️ 4o

This is powerful. Christian, thanks for sharing. I think I've tried to reset my wins by going to bed at night, listing out what I was going to do the next day and making sure I did those things. That seemed to work for a while but when I look around my house that I see a lot of unfinished projects. Those look like failures and losses to me and they tend to erode the small wins that I have put in my brain.
The Hidden Cost of Quick Rewards 🎭
Quick dopamine hits—endless scrolling 📱, junk food 🍕, or mindless entertainment 📺—provide fleeting pleasure but often leave you feeling unsatisfied. They can diminish your capacity for genuine joy and fulfillment. In contrast, pursuing meaningful goals and embracing delayed gratification can rewire your brain’s reward system. Studies have shown that individuals who practice self-control and delay gratification tend to achieve greater success and life satisfaction. For instance, research indicates that the ability to delay gratification is linked to more effective, goal-oriented behavior and healthier relationships. The harder the climb ⛰️, the greater the reward 🏆. By training your mind to seek fulfillment through effort and patience, you can reset your dopamine system and enhance overall well-being. I’ve linked Multiple studies, you can take a look at on your free time if you want to fully grasp what it is your dealing with when we talk about dopamine and effects of quick gratification‼️ https://neurosciencenews.com/delayed-gratification-hippocampus-2374/ https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2004/10/brain-takes-itself-on-over-immediate-vs-delayed-gratification/

I am definitely in the instant gratification mode. I try to stop, but my brain is triggered pretty easily to binge on games or tv shows or facebook...uggh
WE ARE BACK😀❤️‍🔥
Hey everyone, Christian here! I’m excited to be back to making daily posts, engaging with you all, and helping tackle these ever-evolving challenges. First off, I want to be completely honest—I had some struggles securing the right funds to keep the group running. But the thought of losing this community, no matter how small, was something I couldn’t accept. I made a promise to help, and I wasn’t about to break it. Now that the group is back, I’ve been working on new ways to make this process simpler and more engaging. In the next few course modules, you’ll see a new system designed to make everything feel more seamless and enjoyable. While I can’t promise it’ll always be easy, I can promise I’m doing everything I can to make this journey better for you—because you deserve it! Glad to be back with you all! 🙌🔥
