Back floating issue.
I am trying back floating. Although I float but my is neck is in very tense position and I feel little stress there also. That's the reason when I want to stand while looking forward any neck not move easily. What step I have to follow.

Somatic Swimming - Learn to Swim Between Trips to the Pool
I am currently in the process of creating a complementary out of water program that aligns with our learn to swim process from home, between trips to the pool. My goal in creating this program is to: -Enhance strength and mobility -Reduce the amount of time spent in water trying to achieve your learn to swim goals -Make learning possible from home for those who cannot access a pool regularly -Continued learning and mind, body, breath integration from home between pool sessions My question to you is what content would you like to see first? Comment below what you are currently struggling to overcome in water, and which type of at home approach sounds good for you and I will make a video with coaching advice, as well as give you an at home 5-10 minute routine to do between swim practices. Please indicate whether or not you have any postural or mobility challenges so that I can create exercises that work specifically for your current level of fitness/abilities. Indicate whether you would like exercises that are standing, laying down, or chair based.

@Meredith Barrington , although now I can do front float but I can hold my breath more than 20 sec in water and when I try to stand in water, I do it a little bit quickly due to out of breath. Sometimes I also feel tightness in my chest, when I try to hold breath for a litibit more secs. How can I increase my stamina? So that I can swim with relax mind.

Why is there a 'T' on the bottom of the pool
Caribe Nation, Today’s Focus: Looking for the wall… without sinking Let’s Unpack: Almost every new swimmer does this: You’re swimming forward, unsure how close you are to the wall, and suddenly… You lift your head to check. It’s instinct. It’s normal. It feels smart. But here’s what happens next: - Your head lifts - Your body position shifts - Your legs sink - You stop gliding... Why? Because your head is heavy — and lifting it breaks your balance in the water. The Solution: Spot the 'T' If you're in a pool with lines on the bottom, you’ll notice a letter ā€œTā€ near the wall. That ā€œTā€ is your guide... it's not just for decoration. The top of the T means: You’re about 5 feet from the wall. So instead of lifting your head (and losing your float), you can learn to trust what the pool is already telling you. Why This Matters: - You maintain your balance in the water - You keep your legs from sinking - You stay in the zone — calm and confident Will it take practice to trust the T? Yes.But every time you do, your body learns to glide without disruption. And suddenly, swimming becomes less about ā€œcheckingā€ — and more about feeling. Final Thought: Swimming is about building trust: Trust in your body. Trusting in the water Trust in the process. The T is an opportunity to learn trust. Trust that it is accurate Trust that the wall is 5 feet away Let it do the work so you don’t have to! You've got this. Big love, Coach Jeff & Coach Meredith Caribe Swim Founders

@Jeff Wood ohh... That's the importance of 'T', but unfortunately this is not in my swimming centre. Whenever I resume my swimming classes, I will give this in their suggestions box šŸ¤—. Thanx šŸ™... I found that my coach is not so professional and humble like you.
