Well done!
Holiday session
Currently away on holidays. Got up early to do a calisthenics leg session and then spent the day swimming in the pool. Do you like to train when on holidays or prefer to rest?

I always bring my runners and some gym clothes on vacation
Injury update
I received the X-ray report today, apparently I have an avulsion fracture, which means a small fragment of bone has pulled away from the main bone. Has anyone else experienced this type of fracture? If so what was the recovery like?

I hada couple similar fractures in my fingers when I was in high-school, both from gym class after having a basketball and a volleyball hit them straight on and causing the knuckles to jam together. I remember it taking a few weeks to heal, I dont even think I was splinted for more than a week or 2.
Maybe a little odd, perhaps a little interesting?
I volunteer at a farm as part of a CSA share and today, not knly did I get in a good old fashioned farm workout, I learned something new. Today we were tilling the garden beds getting them ready for fresh seeds and while doing so, we found a few carrots that didn't get pulled at the end of last season. These carrots were quite large and still fully edible and quite a bit bigger than the ones we pulled when we were shutting everything down. These carrots grew in the nutrient rich soil but were left burried and unnoticed for whatever reason. They remained underground for the entire winter, harsh cold and all from a very long winter. I learned that these carrots are so full of nutrients they're actually referred to as medicinal carrots as they were strong enough to outlast the harsh conditions and as a result carry more nutrients than the carrots pulled last fall. What I learned today is that I want to be a carrot 😂 Strong enough to be overlooked initially but come out stronger, richer, fuller and more extraordinary in the end. If you could pick a strange and unlikely thing to aspire to be, what would it be?

@Karyn Ainsworth 💯 put in the work, reap the rewards
Headstand
Rest day, but did a little headstand and arm balance practice. Focusing on compression and twisting when bringing legs down, so I can hopefully work into a baby crow or side crow transition.

Great practice and I love how much control you still have while your cat curls up and falls into your face 😂
