Iâm a FAST40 grad - hereâs what Iâm focused on nowâŚ
I wanted to share a little perspective and encouragement for anyone here whoâs struggling or feeling stuck. Before I did the Fast 40 with Dr. Cody Goldman, I was gaining weight no matter what I did. I was trying, I was paying attention, I was working hard, and nothing was working. Between Hashimotoâs, hormone imbalance, and autoimmune issues, my body just felt completely out of sync and honestly, pretty defeating. Before I ever found Dr. Cody, I spent three months working with a nutritionist and still continued to gain weight consistently. Even before that, I was doing body conditioning and training, eating six meals a day, working out six days a week, and following what most people would consider âdoing everything right.â I knew how to be disciplined. I knew how to show up. But nothing was changing, because my body didnât need more effort, it needed the right approach. This program helped reset more than just my eating, it helped reset my mindset and my relationship with my health. Since completing it, and itâs been about three years now, Iâve stayed consistent. Not perfect, but consistent. I focus on whole foods, avoid processed and canned foods, stay away from sugary drinks, and do my best to support my body with the supplements it actually needs. More than anything, Dr. Cody taught me how to understand and recognize what my body needs. Thatâs the part that changed everything. This isnât just a program to âget resultsâ, it teaches you how to read your body so you can support it long term. Now I know that when I donât take care of myself, I feel it. My body tells me. And when I do take care of myself, everything works better. If youâre in the middle of this or just starting, stick with it. Sometimes your body just needs the right reset and the right support to finally start responding. This really did change things for me.
