Divination with the Elder Futhark Runes
I recently came across a Tigers Eye rune set that really called to me while at “the shops on west ridge” that I felt I needed to purchase. I’ve dabbled a bit with runes here and there but right now I really seem to be connecting to this form of divination. I’m studying and pulling runes just about daily and I feel that it is resonating with me currently on a high level. Wanted to open up a discussion on thoughts and insights from anyone who uses rune casting for divination. I’d love to gain some insight from some folks in the community with some experience!

Don’t get me wrong… I absolutely love tarot for its complexity and how open it can be to your own intuition and yes, it sure does have a way to soften things. Which can really help at time. The elder furhark, like you said is straight to the point and I like that alot as well. Another good tool in the divine kit! The tigers eye is what sold me on it. I don’t think I’ve seen a tigers eye rune set. They’re all variable shapes, tumbled nicely and are just great lookin stones! I love how you said the tigers eye is to anchor me to learn. That’s exactly how I feel about it. Always love your insight lady Shiya! Thanks for your response!
Eclipse Specials This Week
Sunday’s Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces cracked open the shadow and flooded us with the power of transformation. I captured that energy within my selenite and labradorite spheres, and this week I’m releasing it in a new spell and ritual: The Eclipse of Becoming — Harnessing the Eclipse to Transform Within. This is a spell of rebirth, created to help you dive deep into your shadow and rise cleansed and powerful on the other side. Paired with the Through Shadow Into Light three-card reading, this work reveals what is ready to rise, what must be faced in the dark, and how you emerge transformed. The Eclipse Special is live Monday night at 8 PM EST, with an encore Thursday night at 8 PM EST. Every live includes free one-card readings and Reiki. Don’t miss your chance — this working is only available during the week following the eclipse.

I’m gonna try to jump in on Thursday. I’m definitely feeling the shift after the eclipse. I pulled The Emperor on Sunday. On the shadow side, The emperor is telling me that I need to stop being so lax and take action on the things I’ve been holding off on. The “not so fun” kind of work needs to be done or I will never get ahead. I’ve been feeling like I’m in a bit of a hole and it’s time to climb on out!

Jumped in late on the live but YouTube didn’t give me an option to comment. I liked and shared and subscribed. Jumped in a little late I guess! I never actually log in to YouTube so I don’t know what I’m doing!
Sigil magick 101 - The Letter Method
In this tutorial, I will be going over how to make a sigil for manifestation. I’ll give a step-by-step guide for creating, charging, and casting a sigil using what is usually referred to as “The Letter Method,” created by Austin Osman Spare in his book The Book of Pleasure. I will not go into every detail or variation. There are many ways to charge, destroy, and cast a sigil—and countless ways to create one. Here, I’ll give only a brief run-down, focusing on the most common disposal methods and two methods of charging. Those two can also be combined. To begin, write your statement of intent (desired outcome) on a piece of paper in the present tense. Keep it simple yet specific—many suggest 4 to 5 parameters. After writing your statement of intention, cross out all repeating letters and all vowels. You’ll omit them and bring down what letters remain. We will be creating an image out of these letters—as shown in the graphics below. One graphic demonstrates the entiroty of the process from condencinf down letters to creating the sigl and another just the sigil creation from the left over letters. Now if one letter is contained inside another (e.g., P inside R or B), you can omit it. Below, I’ve included two examples: one shows the entire process from sentence to sigil, where a sigil for obtaining peace was created. And the other graph is a sigil created from the leftover letters from the intention: “I got my desired position at my company with great pay without causing harm.” Only showing the letter construction (The remaining letters for the sigil were GTHDSRPNMYCW) If you don’t like how your first design looks, keep reworking it until it feels right. You may even simplify it further. Many say the subconscious mind—which sigils operate on—loves simplicity. However, I’ve had success with simple, intricate, and even messy sigils. Charging To charge the sigil, meditate on it by gazing or staring at it. A good trick is to look at the background behind it so you see the whole image. When doing this look at it like you are looking past or through the sigil. Don’t strain too much, but don’t get overly relaxed either.

This is typically the method I like to use. Generally I scribe onto candles. Occasionally on a piece of paper to be burned. I like the creative aspect of making sigils this way. Putting that creative energy into something makes it that much stronger in my humble opinion.

🧵 Discussion Post for Introduction to Witchcraft – Lesson Three: Sabbats & Esbats This is the official discussion thread for Lesson Three of the Introduction to Witchcraft course. Share your reflections, seasonal stories, questions, or favorite ways to honor time. This is where your magic begins to sync with the rhythm of the Earth and Moon—drop into the thread and join the conversation. 🌒🌞 Living by the Witch’s Calendar We don’t just move through time—we dance with it. Sabbats and Esbats are the heartbeat and breath of the Mystic Path, and aligning your life with them is one of the most powerful choices you can make. ✨ Sabbats ground us in Earth’s cycles—the return of light, the bursting of blossoms, the harvest, the descent into shadow. They remind us that we are not separate from nature—we are nature. 🌕 Esbats connect us to the Moon’s ever-changing face. She teaches us to wax and wane, to shine fully and then rest in shadow. Her rhythm is our rhythm. 💬 In the comments below, tell us: - What sabbat or season do you feel most connected to, and why? - Do you celebrate all the Sabbats, just a few, or are you just starting to learn them? - Have you ever tracked the lunar phases and noticed how they affect your mood, magic, or energy? - What’s your favorite way to honor the Full Moon—or do you prefer the quiet of the New? This lesson isn’t just about dates—it’s about choosing to live in time as a sacred act. The wheel keeps turning. The moon keeps rising. And with every breath, you walk the path a little deeper. Let’s hear how you walk it. 🌾🌕🔥

The colors and energy of fall is my favorite time of year. I felt a deep connection during midsummer this year. Specifically 8/8 and the lions gate portal with the full sturgeon moon! Ritual outside that evening felt very eye opening to me. The energy was undeniable! I swear I felt the moon brighten when I closed my circle and completed my ritual!

Being an earth sign (Capricorn) I’ve always felt a strong connection to this element. Since childhood, the woods have felt like a safe space for me. Also, I’m obsessed with fire and was definitely a little pyro growing up. Probably why my career ended up in the welding trade!
