Audiences are not impressed with high tech figures anymore as theres so much robotic automation available. I think these days folks like to see how a simple figure or even a sock can come to life with your skill

i need material, I have potential gigs lined up but my act needs to be comedy club standard funny ! No good just being good technically in my opinion.

If you dont have your figure with you then you are not in character! unlike a comedian who might always be expected to be funny . Leave you figure in the cabin .

How to be genuinely funny, if the audience is laughing heartily you have won the battle.

@April Brucker yes it throws you into a more heightened state than mirror practice which I struggle to get motivated to do. The bonus is that you can keep a close eye on your lips in the screen alongside reading comments and who knows - one might get quite a following :)
