How do you find voices?
Mine come from lots of sources. My church lady Mrs Grace Goodheart’s voice is based on my Nana and a bit of George Formby. Some I’ve adapted from old cartoons. How about you?
Question For Figure Makers
We have several figure makers in the group, and those who make figures themselves. Here are a few questions for you: 1. What is your favorite material to create with? 2. What is your inspiration to create a character 3. What do you wish people knew before purchasing a figure?

New Version of Zepellin, my main character
Hey guys!! I've never told you this, but I discovered I could do vent, when I was making a muppet. I was studying props and scenery at the time, and one of the tasks was to create a muppet. The teacher taught us but he had never made a muppet before, so I had been using It for a year and a half until It started breaking down. And I decided to create a new version of the character on my own!! I'm going to upload some pictures of the comparison!!! What do you think!! I think It looks WAAYY BETTER now!!

Wade’s World
Check out the latest “Wade’s World” column by our very own Mark Wade-ventriloquist and coach extraordinaire. As usual, he imparts much needed wisdom for all of us. And this lends itself to a topic we have been discussing on here, so this is why I posted this in the Puppets and Dummies section. Thank you Mark! https://www.skool.com/ventriloquist-guild-4182/classroom/1fc31ce5?md=b0c7e05f440c4d8fa6d9dc1123258bee

Anyone Like Wooden Figures
If so, why? Why do you prefer wooden figures? I know most vents use soft puppets now but let’s hear from you.
