Content Club Members Sprint
Content Club Paid Members: Our sprint starts next week and we'll be doing a daily Substack/LinkedIn post sprint again! If you're not inside the paid portion of the Content Club, you can still jump into the sprint with us! I'll be setting up a way for you to get just the prompts we'll be using just for the sprint. :) And if you don't want the prompts but still want to participate, I'll be posting daily here to keep you accountable to post every day and show up for your business! Who's in?!

Content Strategy Planning Day 2/12
Every day (except for the weekends), I'll post questions to get you started with your content strategy planning. These points will build upon each other from each day to the next, so be sure you're going in order! We're taking an asynchronous approach this round. My goal is to make this feel less like you're drinking from a firehose and more like you're making steady, intentional, thoughtful progress. By the end of our few weeks working through this strategy planning, you'll have a clear idea of what to do daily, weekly, and monthly to grow your list, grow your business, and grow toward your 2025 goals. Pro tip: Grab a notebook or open a Google Doc to jot down your ideas throughout this process. This will be personal, so choose what feels best to you — analog or digital mode. Today's question to ponder: Fill in these blanks — [AUDIENCE] wants to go from [POINT A] to [POINT B] While you might already know this, solidifying and updating the transformation you offer can help reorient your content toward your north star.

Mom business owners want to go from thinking about hiring their kids to actually having their kids onboard as an employee.

@Kimberly Crossland I love that idea. Thanks
Content Strategy Planning Day 3/12
We're back for day 3 of this content strategy planning! Today we're going to take the work you did last week and mash it all into one sentence. I promise that this will help you get clearer on WHO you serve and how your content is going to help them, which is essential for writing strong words that'll resonate, grow your list, and sell! Today, I want you to fill in the following, bringing day 1 and 2 together into one clear statement: My content helps [AUDIENCE X] get [INFORMATION Y] that offers [BENEFITS Z] Pro tip: Hang this up on a post-it note on your computer or calendar so you can be reminded of why you're writing the content. It's not to sell. That's a nice byproduct. It's to help someone achieve a goal. That mindset shift when planning is HUGE!

My content helps mom business owners implement a plan that gets their child working in the family business and building a financial legacy.

@Kimberly Crossland thanks. I have a guide that walks moms through the steps to see if their business can support the cost of paying their child.
Content Strategy Planning Day 1/12
We're heading into 2025 with ease, flow, and strategy planning — and I could not be more excited for this asynchronous approach. I've heard from so many of you that you're not quite ready to go back to the grind, so let's stay cozy for a while, shall we? Starting today, I'll post daily (except for the weekends) questions to get you started with your content strategy planning. Today's question to ponder: Fill in these blanks — My ultimate goal is to get [AUDIENCE] to [OUTCOME]. If you haven't yet, think through who you're serving with some depth (you can check the classroom section for more guidance). Then, think through the outcome you want to help them achieve. Get specific. Get clear. When you're done, drop your filled-in sentence below so we can check it out and get to know you better (which is important if we're going to refer others your way)!

My ultimate goal is to get mom business owners to pay their child employees the right way.
Outbound Marketing Sprint Day 1
This week, we're running an outbound marketing sprint. Every day through Dec. 20 I'll post a category of people to spend 10 minutes (or more) engaging with by commenting, liking, or sharing (and tagging) their content. You can do this on ANY platform, from Instagram to Substack to LinkedIn. The goal isn't to get noticed by these people specifically but also by their followers, who poke their heads in the comments to find other like-minded souls. Day 1: Comment on accounts that are complementary to you. For example, if you're a business coach, comment on accounts of tools your audience uses. If you're a realtor, comment on the businesses in your local area. If you're a social media creator, comment on business coach profiles. (This is one time it's good to look sideways)
