OOTE
first OOTD here, and first post After work me and some of the guys went to see the new Spiderman in theaters, so naturally I got a little dressed up, nothing fancy. Gray crew neck tshirt, navy athletic shorts, blue button up knit polo, gray canvas sneakers. And of course my signature purple FedEx sunglasses. The Fragrance of the night was Joseph Abound "Modern Gentleman" Thanks for looking!

@Chad Smith thank you
Style Battle: Navy Suit vs. Charcoal Grey Suit? (Pick One & Why)
Gentlemen, if you could only own ONE suit for the rest of your life, which would it be? 👔⚔️ Two iconic suit colors. Two very different statements. And every well-dressed man has an opinion. THE NAVY SUI: Versatile, confident, and universally flattering. Navy reads as both formal and approachable, making it equally at home in a boardroom, at a wedding, or on a first date. Pair it with brown shoes for a classic look, or white sneakers for a modern edge. It's the suit that does everything. THE CHARCOAL GREY SUIT: The ultimate power suit. Serious, authoritative, and razor-sharp. Charcoal grey carries an undeniable gravitas that navy simply can't match — it's the suit you wear when you need to command a room. With a white shirt and black shoes, it's untouchable. The question: Which suit earns the single spot in your wardrobe — and why? Vote your pick below 👇 and tell me what outfit you'd build around it!

This might be a hot take, but I'd got with charcoal, while you do lose versatility, I see far less charcoal suits then navy in the wild, charcoal would help you stand out more.
Pen Pockets: Yes or No?
I like to carry a pen with me wherever I go. But I hate the thing bouncing around in my pocket, banging against my cell phone or getting lost in a larger jacket pocket. So I'm having my tailor install "pen pockets" on all of my jackets. There's room for one under the inside jacket pocket on the left side. See photo for example. The pen, by the way, is a Scriveiner Silver Chrome Rollerball Pen, sold on Amazon. Anyone else like pen pockets? Take the poll!

I try to keep a pen in every jacket I have, accompanied with a small pocket notepad. While a cell phone can take notes just fine, there's something more satisfying and edifying to taking physical notes. Also very helpful with giving info to people. (Not to mention leaving love notes for your lady😉)
Every Suit Type Explained in 3 Minutes
Most men wear a suit without even knowing the name of what they're wearing. In this video, you'll learn the difference between every type of suit — and more importantly, when to wear each one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5XYBTLvEvc
@Dr. Jason Cole wholeheartedly agree, AI can be useful for certain tasks, this is not one of them.
@Alex Kilpatrick yep, I will also add, it gets the reasons behind styles of suits wrong too, for example; the satin and silk on Tuxedos and evening wear has never had anything to do with how "artificial" light reflects off of it.

It's time for more food and more music - as is often the case during Handy Fest. Tonight's outfit features a cream seersucker suit jacket, worn as a sportscoat. This is one of the jackets I just got back from my new tailor, Lucien. For some reason, Bonobos fully lined this jacket. I had him adjust the sleeves and remove some of the lining to make this jacket more breathable - effectively turning a fully-lined jacket into a half-lined jacket.
