I'm afraid this is a few days late, but on Saturday i attended my oldest cousin's nuptial ceremony and Mass, along with the reception. Outfit consisted of: Light gray three piece suit White French cuff shirt Brown side zip boots Blue and brown pocket square Tree of Gondor bolo tie Cross of St. George cufflinks Brown strap watch (I apologize for lack of close up pictures of accessories) The reception was full of many dances (swing, waltz, two-step, triple-step, and salsa) I am a firm believer that every gentleman should know how to formally dance.

Just an observation I've made. In many videos, articles, etc. when talking about how it is bad to wear logos on your clothes, the infamous Gucci belt buckle is often cited for reference. Wearing the belt buckle is seen as being pretentious because of the logo. The RMRS community in particular has made it clear that wearing company logos is the opposite of stylish. There is another belt who's buckle is the company logo. Anson Belts. Anson belts are seen often in the OOTD postings. Many here would probably recommend Anson Belts. They are often a sponsor for RMRS YouTube videos as well as other Style-Tubers. The question is, besides price and esthetics, what's the difference? Either way, you are wearing a company logo as a belt buckle. All this said, I wouldn't wear a Gucci belt if it was gifted to me. I don't like the esthetic. I have an Anson Belt box being shipped to me as we speak. Not sure about Anson but giving it a try. I’ve been getting myself a bit confused lately and it’s causing a bit of an internal identity crisis. The background is this: I’m 47 years old, turning 48 in a couple of months, and also due to finish my first university degree and graduate at the end of this year, and will be starting out fresh in a new career in nursing in 2027. I’ve always felt that I was a bit behind the 8 ball for a lot of things, felt like I wasn’t as mature, or as far along in life as my peers and that I wasn’t always kinda missing something. Anyway, throughout my studies I discovered something about myself, and last year was officially diagnosed with the neurodivergence ADHD. As I have been researching the condition, and relating it to my life and my experiences growing up, I have discovered that one of the traits of neurodivergence is that our emotional maturity develops a lot slower than neuro typical people, about one third slower in fact, which at my age puts my emotional age at around the early 30’s. What does that all have to do with style I hear you ask? Well, from the style research I’ve been doing, reading articles and watching yt vids etc, I’ve been trying to dress more my age, like a mature man pushing 50, but when I do I FEEL like I look like I’m dressing older than I am in my head (even though I’m probably not) and there seems to be a bit of a dissonance going on. Ironically, the clothes I’m wearing are probably equally suitable for a guy in his 30’s as well. If I dress a bit younger however, I feel like I LOOK like a try hard, and a bit like a department store mannequin, and it doesn’t always match the salt and pepper in my beard. So I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. It probably doesn’t help that I’ve yet to really land on my signature style anyway, plus I’ve put on a bit of weight recently from hours stagnating in front of the laptop which has given me a bit more of an unusual body shape. So I guess I’m just looking for a bit of advice from anyone who might understand what I’ve got going on, or if anyone has been through a similar situation.

Sporting the new pocket square from Crucineli & Bella today and received a few new items while away. Look forward to sporting them soon, but also preparing for another trip beginning next Friday. Crazy summer! Friday’s outfit was built around a warm-weather business classic palette: tan, navy, cream, rust brown, and polished silver/rose-gold accents. The Friday rule was a success: several low-wear pieces came into rotation, including NT-062, DSo-092, CL-034, and PS-042, each showing only 1 actual wear after today’s entry. • Jacket — DOJ-012 (Haspel): A tan cotton seersucker blazer with cream and mid-gray tones, lightweight construction, and a matte finish. This keeps the outfit breathable and relaxed while still giving enough structure for an in-person medical appointment and P3 video calls. • Shirt — DS-010 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A white non-iron cotton twill French-cuff dress shirt with a spread-point collar and mother-of-pearl buttons. The 5.5" spread collar, French cuffs, and high formality score make it a crisp anchor for the tie and cufflinks; use 2.25" collar stays. • Undershirt — US-023 (David Archy): A white crew-neck undershirt in bamboo rayon. It gives comfortable, breathable coverage under the white shirt without disturbing the clean business look. • Slacks — SL-023 (Enzo Tovare): Navy Wool Super 150 slacks in a light worsted fabric with a subtle sheen. These add business-classic polish while staying breathable enough for a warm July day. • Tie — NT-062 (Brooks Brothers): A silk paisley tie in yellow, light blue, navy, and white. This was a strong Friday-rule win, with today being the first wear, and it brings camera-friendly brightness without overpowering the tan-and-navy base.
