Small Hinges Swing Big Doors
Still going hard on the book atomic habits and the single biggest change I've made so far is getting really intentional about designing my environment in a way that I am not set up to fail. Here are some examples of small changes that lead to big wins. 1. Getting an old school alarm clock. I used to have my phone as my alarm clock and that consistently set me up to fail with the temptation to scroll right away first thing in the morning or to check notifications. Safe to say that does not work. 2. Keeping my phone turned off an hidden - now that I have this alarm clock set up my morning routine locks in much quicker and avoid the loop of distractions. Currently just did the habits audit within the book and built out a morning routine that is documented. The piece i'm stoked on right now is that these habits are actually happening. They are all being tracked. And there is a sense of momentum that builds from following through on small little wins. Once you get those down you create mental space for bigger wins to come through, for more creativity to come through. If you haven't checked this book out from James Clear yet, 10/10 suggest it. Doing a book club with my sales team right now and they are all adopting his frameworks as well.

What type of breath work do you do?
What do you need? (comments below) 👇
Based on a few first chats, the biggest thing I'm seeing is how to land a closing role, and also some content on how to get into sales management if you've gone further into closing. Would love your guys' input in the comments below as I am going to be filming a ton of content from the office in Cabo this month.

One bottleneck I’m dealing with is let’s say I’m speaking with an owner of a company or co-founder etc, they need the help that my offer provides however… 1) sometimes they are screening a few different options.. 2) the person on the call isn’t solely the decision maker… 3) the owner would not be the one jumping on coaching calls so they need to find someone internally to dedicate to it.

Nice call! I’m curious, would you not address the uncertain language during the call? He was using a lot of “I think so” etc
