yooooo writing this in the university library rn.. its rlly hot outsideāwent in here cuz there's 57+ air conditioners installed.. but ANYWAY. that's not the main "focus" in this skool post. i want to talk about how: - FOCUS is literally the ONLY thing u need to be successful at copywriting (or anything) - why "deep focus" is important. aight, let's start š£ļø: first, i want you to ingrain this in you: no EXCEPTIONAL athlete, entrepreneur, artist, actor, writer, fighter.... or any successful person u know... got good at what they didā WITHOUT EFFORT AND SACRIFICE. they weren't "focusing" on 26+ different skills or activities . they only cared about ONE. which is the skill/expertise they want to master. they either went ALL IN on one path (and nothing else) OR sacrificed / cut off other stuff to make ROOM for the thing they needed to do. (just like @Alicia Joseph dropping out of college probably) well why is that??? it's because whatever you put ināthe more you get out. shocking right? š so if you put 50% (half) effort... you get 50% results. if you put 100% of your time, energy, and effort? you get 100% results! (no sh*t) and as a human.. we only get 24 hours a day with LIMITED physical & mental energy. and guess what? there's a BUNCH of things in your life that either helps youāor distracts you. so you might have to prioritize what's importantāand limit what isn't. if you TRULY want to be great at writing copy... u might have to prioritize it from almost anything else.. and do activities that gets you closer to mastering it. now im not telling you to practice copywriting like your life depended on it (maybe) but again... more input = better output less input = worse output capiche? š¤š» hopefully that helped you get into the right headspace. we tend to forget focus uknow? anyway i gotta eat now im hungry as hell like the post if u like me š
