Hey everyone, happy weekend! I'm onboarding a new front desk clerk this Monday and I'm in full prep mode building out SOPs and training modules inside Notion. This role has historically struggled at our company due to a lack of structured onboarding, so I want to get it right this time from day one. I've already started mapping out things like office opening procedures, software responsibilities, phone scripts, and non-negotiables. Planning to layer in some Loom videos for the more hands-on tasks too. My question for the group: does anyone have an existing SOP or training framework for a front desk clerk or office manager in a home improvement or contracting company? Even a rough checklist or bird's-eye view of the role would be helpful. I just want to make sure I'm not leaving any blind spots before Monday morning.
