What stood out to me is the TIME Selena spends at the beginning of her Learn to Swim in 100 MINUTES Program with each student. Paying attention to their nervous system, emotional state, watching for any sign of fear. Out of 8 lessons, she will devote up to 4 days on this, meeting the child where he/she is at. Once a trusting relationship with boundaries has been established between her and her student, she says the rest flows and the swimmer learns the water skills much faster.
