Why I am here...
Hey everyone — quick update and an invitation. 💛 Right now, the entire Naviating Neva Skool space is 100% free. Every course, every module, every lesson. And I’ve built it this way on purpose, because I want aquatic professionals, instructors, parents, and leaders to have real support while we grow this community together. Here’s what’s coming next: 1️⃣ Once we reach 200 members, the Skool will become a paid community. (or maybe not, you can vote.) Nothing changes today — but when we hit that number, we’ll shift into a paid model so I can keep creating the depth of training, tools, and support you’ve all been asking for. If there’s someone you want to invite, now is the perfect time to bring them in while it’s still free. 2️⃣ When we reach 100 members, some courses will become paid modules. Not all — I’ll always keep core training and foundational content free. But specialty courses, leadership tracks, in-service modules, trauma-aware aquatics, and advanced trainings will eventually move to the paid tier. If you want full access locked in, join now and share it with someone who would love it. 3️⃣ I’m happy to create courses you request. If there’s something you want for: - In-service training - Staff development - Instructor onboarding - Special populations (ADHD, autism, trauma-aware, sensory profiles) - Leadership, communication, or deck management Just tell me. This Skool exists to make your work easier, your team stronger, and your teaching smoother.

Thank You for Being Here — A Quick Note About Growing This Community
I want to pause for a moment and say how much I appreciate each of you being here. This group exists because I genuinely want to help, share, and create something meaningful. I also want to be open about how growth works on this platform. Groups are shown in the directory based on active participation — posts, comments, reactions, and ongoing engagement. Right now, we’re just under the metrics needed to show publicly. If this group has been helpful to you, I’m asking for your help in return:engage when you can. That might look like: - commenting on a post - asking a question - reacting to something that resonated - or starting a conversation you’d like support with Your activity helps this group become visible to others who need it — and it allows me to continue showing up here consistently with high-quality content and support. I’m very grateful you’re here, and I’m excited to build this together.

Welcome to Navigating Neva — and thank you for being here.
My school page has grown to over 100 members, and I want to pause and clearly explain what this space is meant to be. Navigating Neva is my personal knowledge library. It’s where I share: - PDFs you can download for free - Courses you can walk through for free - Documents inside those courses for free - Training videos pulled directly from my real teaching and field experience This space is not a sales funnel. It’s not a required program. It’s not how I train my staff. This is how I learn. When I see something on deck, in leadership, in aquatics, or in education that makes me stop and think … I put it here. It’s the backside of my brain. The notes. The visuals. The frameworks. The “wait, this matters” moments. That includes: - My Joyful Waters philosophy, which is available for free - My real teaching videos - My thought process as an educator and leader There are optional paid pieces, and I want to be transparent about those: - Certification → fee (separate from the material) - Workshops → fee - Custom support → fee But the material itself is free and always has been. If someone wants: - A document branded with their logo (fee) - A resource turned into a course or PowerPoint (fee it will be specific to your team) - A presentation tailored to their team’s age group or experience level (fee, also trailered to your team) I’m happy to help with that — because that’s the work I enjoy! I’m a leader and an educator at heart. I genuinely love helping people understand, teach, and lead more clearly, especially through strong visuals, because that’s how I’ve learned my entire life. That’s Navigating Neva. A shared library. A thinking space. A place to learn without pressure.
