Quiet morning, mountain air, comfort book
The Quiet Kind of Healing
Healing doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it’s in the moments you choose rest over running, grace over guilt, or silence instead of self-blame. What’s a quiet way you’ve noticed your healing showing up recently, even if no one else would see it?

Well I got a compliment from my therapist about how when we started I wouldn’t be able to control my emotions and would spiral into this emotional mess… but now I’m able to sit with the situation and process it and not let my emotions control me.

@Erika Bogan I’m definitely working on being proud of myself, but I look back 3years ago and feel that I have grown, and I’m not that same person
🌿 Monday's HOPE Shift (11/10/25) 🌿
H — Honor what emotion is showing up for you this morning. O — Observe how that emotion feels in your body. P — Practice breathing through it instead of fighting it. E — Engage in one small act of peace — something simple that makes today feel lighter. Healing starts with noticing, not fixing. What emotion are you honoring as you begin this new week?

To allow myself the space to be disabled. I’ve pushed my body physically from work and living life, that I can barely move, and I need help to do basic tasks. I’m having to except that even though I have my dream job I may not be able to continue it at the rate I am currently doing it. *this is a current battle I’ve been facing for years. Thanks to people in my life not being understanding and making me feel guilty on my bad days for using my mobility aids.
