About Erika & The HOPE Shift Method
Hi, I’m Erika Bogan — trauma-informed life coach, speaker, Hope Dealer and creator of the HOPE Shift Method. My story began long before this community existed. I became paralyzed after a car accident caused by domestic violence, and for years, I lived in survival mode. I wrestled with shame, fear, and the belief that my life had been taken from me. But somewhere along that journey, I discovered something deeper — that even when everything breaks, healing is still possible. The HOPE Shift Method grew from my own process of rebuilding my mind, body, and spirit after trauma. It’s a framework to help you shift the way you think and respond to life so you can move from surviving to truly living. HOPE stands for: - H — Honor what you feel without judgment. - O — Observe your thoughts and emotions with compassion. - P — Practice reframing your inner dialogue and choosing new responses. - E — Engage with life again through mindful, intentional action. This community is a safe space to explore those steps together — to learn, reflect, and grow at your own pace. You’ll find lessons, journaling prompts, and real conversations with others walking a similar path. You don’t need to have it all figured out to belong here. You just need to show up — as you are, where you are. Welcome to The HOPE Shift Hub. I’m so grateful you’re here. — Erika
