"The Last Letter" - A Veterans Day Tribute
Hey everyone, I'm incredibly proud to share a new short film I put together for Veterans Day today, titled "The Last Letter." This film is a personal tribute and a labor of love, dedicated to honoring the courage and sacrifice of veterans, especially those who served in World Wars I and II. I know many of you are pioneering the same tools, so for those interested, this piece was crafted using a blend of Midjourney for the visuals and Kling for the video generation. It really pushes the emotional and atmospheric capabilities of AI in filmmaking. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the final result and how you think AI tools can best be used for emotional and historical storytelling. Thank you for watching, and thank you to all who have served. -Cameron

interesting vid! how long did it take you to make this? Also how in depth were your prompts? wondering what the best length of a prompt is without AI getting confused and spitting out something irrelevant.

@Evan Adamson Thanks for all the insight. I’ll be sure to use some of your tips in my editing process
Question about prompting
is the final/only prompt that you input into AI, only the summarized prompt (first photo). Or are you inputing all the other prompt notes like the 2nd picture, ALONG WITH the final prompt summary?

Glad You’re Here (Read This First)
Hey, welcome! 👋 I’m really glad you’re here. This whole thing — the AI Filmmaker Lab — is about experimenting and figuring out how to make AI films feel cinematic instead of just… AI. We’re gonna learn together, share what’s working, what’s not, and push each other to make better stuff. ►Where to Start 1. Introduce yourself. Head over to the Introductions thread and make a quick post. Who you are, what got you curious about AI filmmaking, and maybe what you want to create. It doesn’t need to be fancy. 2. Head to the Classroom and watch "Create Your First 5-Second Cinematic Shot with AI". After you say hello, jump into this short beginner-friendly course. It walks you through the simple process of creating your very first cinematic AI shot from start to finish — perfect if you’re brand-new and want a quick win. 3. Join the Dailies Challenge. Once you’ve watched that course, the best way to grow fast is through the Dailies thread. I encourage you to create something every day — a single image, a short clip, or even just an experiment. The more you post, the faster you’ll improve and find your cinematic style. ►What to Expect Every week, new workflows, trainings, and insights will drop in the Classroom to help you level up your craft and make your work stand out. That’s it for now. From here, share your work, your experiments, even the messy stuff. This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about moving forward and growing together. Glad you’re here. – Cameron
