CDOD: How much effort are auctions for our PARTNERS?
For anyone who has run an auction already, how much time do you think your partner had to invest into the whole thing? Forget fulfillment, just planning/running the auction start to finish. I told a lead earlier I thought it'd only take him a few hours besides fulfillment (his main thing is he's busy with a new paid Skool community), and I don't want to outright LIE about it. Fine walking back the time commitment but I have no clue what to say. 🤔

Quick update: Loom requested by one of the biggest names on my outreach list with the highest upside.

@Travis Sago How would you respond to this? I sent over the list of time commitments and got this back: "Copy and paste emails 10 minutes." "Copy and paste pre-auction post / email / YouTube update / etc. - 10 minutes." This right here is what will actually eat my time. I don't copy and paste anything LOL I write the hell out of all my content.
Sorry this stupid Beamer deal isn't a sexy auction
Client kicked me over a referral last year to a regional roofing / home remodeling company near me. Originally I was going to do retainer email marketing for them (pre Ronin). Kept bouncing back and forth with their CMO, eventually got tired of his waffling and told him I'd do rev share on a test campaign instead. That flipped the switch and he started chasing me. Then he went on vacation, Thanksgiving hit, I went on vacation, Christmas... Anyway, he just sent over access to his sales CRM and email software. They've got 30,000 customers with an email address and 100,000 leads. Another 100,000 leads with phone and physical address. Do you think we'll pick any deals up with "hey still interested in a new roof?" Or from the roofing customers who just might, maybe, possibly want windows or solar panels? Anyway, this is still early. But there's tons of upside and I never would have seen 99% of it without this group. Big thanks to @Travis Sago and everyone else who contributes here. Again, I'm sorry this isn't a big sexy auction deal. Maybe after the test campaign.

@Travis Sago I certainly think they're seksy AF too!

@Tom Curtis yes I see so many opportunities here. Roof -> solar panels was one of them. Maybe not with a foot of snow on their roofs right now though.
CDOD: Giving FUNnel Live
Well, tech stuff gave me a headache for a bit but we're ONLINE now. Anyone else get their FUNnel up yet or is everybody too busy drowning in coffee dates to post here?

@Travis Sago I've gotten 4 people to ask for a Loom but I think I'm fumbling on the message here, somehow. Got any advice before I fire one off?

@Travis Sago Nope, not to this guy. First 3 times I sent the Loom I didn't hear back. Do you just drop the link and say here ya go? That's what I've been doing.
Gets people to make faster decisions (without pressure)
People delay making big, scary decisions. BUT... Shrink the decision, remove the teeth and they often move forward. Let's say you have a potential partner who was hot to trot about running an auction... But then... They start dragging their feet. What to do? TRUTH and SHRINK the decision. “If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering if your peeps will respond to an auction. We can figure it out in one email/post. We’ll know in one email and a couple of hours. I’ll write the email/post if you send it.” It works because we “shrink” the decision in their heads. People delay making big, scary decisions. Shrink the decision and remove the teeth and they often move forward. Then you can run home and tell your sweetie, "Honey, I shrunk the decision!" Now... Get this. If the test goes great... NOW the potential partner is so excited that they ask YOU to move forward. If it doesn't go great... PERFECT! Now we know we need to change the offer OR move onto another partner and we've wasted very little time.l Knowing and practicing this has made me a fortune. Now… I pass it on to you!! Rooting For Ya, Travis

@Travis Sago might be getting ahead of myself but what's the typical split we go for on auctions? 25%?

Thanks @Travis Sago
Low-Ticket Product Launch -> Auction?
I'm about to launch a $100 product on my email list, but it might be more fun to work this into an auction in my Skool group instead. Has anyone done this, for yourself or a partner? Love to get your advice. Thank you!

@Travis Sago Sounds like a good upsell would be leads on demand
