costa rica travel advice
Im looking to travel to Costa Rica in November. Anyone here has local recommendations for places to stay (such as permaculture/organic farms) or where to obtain local organic produce/fruits? I will be flying into Liberia and want to stay away from major touristic areas. I was able to supply myself at a very good organic farmer's market years ago when i travelled to the southern part of Costa Rica but i wont be going in that area this time. Thank you for any advice!

I'm on the Caribbean side. I started planting fruit trees almost 3.5 years ago. It’s been such a joy to harvest more and more fruits as the trees begin producing. Nearby, there are older organic fruit farms with an already greater variety and quantity, and there are also great sources for fresh organic vegetables. It really feels abundant here. There are some tourists around. The vibe is different and less busy than on the Pacific. It’s easy to stay away from the touristy spots and spend time with a mix of wonderful people: expats, locals, and even indigenous people who are truly worth getting to know. You’re welcome to visit!
