How was your weekend? Plus events this week
I had a busy weekend spending time with family, going to a coffee networking meetup, and a friend's BBQ. It was a very full weekend that was lovely, but my social battery was at 10% last night haha. Plus I went to sleep late last night because my husband and I were watching the new and last season of The Bear. He kept saying one more episode and I gave in. 😑 How was your weekend? Do anything fun, and what are you looking forward to this week? I'm going to be catching up on missed comments and posts in here this morning. I have a lot in the works for our community, and I've been quietly working on them. I'll be asking you for feedback too so I create what you actually want. Tomorrow I'm taking the day off so my husband and I can celebrate our 12 year first date anniversary. Anyone else celebrate things like this, or are we just cheesy? I'm making some changes to the about page and would love your input! Which cover page do you like, and do they appeal to you? Should I make any changes? I personally love pink and whimsical, so I like options 4 and 5, but not sure if they will appear to a broader female audience haha. Your opinions are much appreciated. Thank you!

The one thing that saves my weekends
We made it to Friday. Weekends can be the hardest time to eat well. The routine goes out the window, we're social, we're tired, we just want to relax. I get it. Same here. One thing that helps me is having something easy and plant-forward already in the fridge. Not a full meal plan. Just something. A pot of grains. Hummus and veggies. Soup. What's your plan this weekend? Or what do you wish you had ready? I'll share some ideas if you need them! ❤️
