Hello everyone, I am seeking guidance from experienced members of this community and would really appreciate your practical advice. My Background & Skills - CMA (Pakistan) student from ICMAP, currently in the final stage of qualification - Strong interest and confidence in working with data - I have Practical skills in: Microsoft Excel | Power BI | Data cleaning, shaping, and transformation | Data analysis and visualization | Turning raw data into meaningful and decision-useful insights. What I Want to Achieve: My short-term goal is to earn USD 1,000 in a single month by using my data analysis skills ethically and by adding real value to clients. I want to achieve this specifically through Upwork, but at the moment, I have zero practical knowledge of client hunting. Where I Need Your Guidance: I would really appreciate step-by-step or experience-based advice on: - How to position myself on Upwork as a data analyst (Excel / Power BI) - What type of services or niches are more realistic for a beginner to target - How to find the right clients who actually need data analysis and dashboards - How to approach proposal writing when starting from zero - How to price my services initially while working toward the $1,000 monthly target My Mindset: - I am not looking for shortcuts or quick money - I want to earn by solving real problems for clients - I am willing to learn, test, fail, and improve consistently - My aim is long-term growth, skill building, and client trust If you were in my position today — with strong Excel and Power BI skills but no client-hunting experience — what exact steps would you take in the next 30 days to reach your first $1,000? AOA everyone! Because It's my first journal, I will tell about myself and my occupations before talking about my routine so that everyone will be able to relate with me when I'll describe.... So, I am a student at ICMAP. last 2 of my exams are left to Pass, after that i will be a qualified Chartered Management accountant (CMA) ... The last exams of CA/ACCA/CMA, all are very tough and require a lot of time and effort as you all know, that's why i spend a lot of my time preparing for my exams and i will appear in my exams in February 2026 attempt, whenever you'll see my journal majority of my time will be invested in studies because this is must for me in order to clear my exams.. This is my routine that I'm pleased to share in this community of people with Productive mindsets : 11:30 am - woke up 11:40 am - Qaza Fajar After that did breakfast or you can say lunch haha... 1:00 pm - Duhr and Asr jama 1:30 pm - Started studying. After that I will just study and take some breaks and then continue what i was doing till 4 to 5 PM. 5:00 pm - this is the time for my second meal.. I did my lunch. this is my resting time , I watch some content on social media or just start singing to relax, btw i love singing ... some day I'll also share my Nasheed or some song in this community as well Insh'Allah. 6:00 pm- I teach maths to an O-levels student, I go there and it takes me approx 1hr. 7:00 pm- I spend some time with my family my Father, my mother, my siblings .. 8:30 pm- maghrib and isha jama 9pm-12pm- This is the time that i spent on Youtube, and today is the day i found this community on Youtube so yes I think it was fruitful ... I usually watch informative content so it helps me grow . around 12:30 pm - It is time for the second session of my studies and I just do it until i fell asleep. If i talk about today so today(16th dec,2025) , i slept at around 5 am and after that i woke up around 11 or 12 pm, It varies... I want you all to suggest me what changes should i make in my daily routine and what habits should i adopt .... your opinion is very precious to me.. so please feel free to share your insights or suggestions .......... Slept at 11, woke up at 9, had a fever, did nothing… literally nothing. Just lay in bed all day slept, ate, rested, watched K-drama, (My Liberation notes) took medicine.
