Hello I just wanted a little supervision on how to convert the people who respond to your mail or dm into clients because most client's I get just want you to give them the results they expect after they just send a message like "hello yes I do need a website it should be e-commerce type" because this is exactly what one guy said I sent a reply saing "Hey Ahmad, I would need a little detail before I start working on your site: 1: what is your main product for the site? 2: you want me to use dummy images or will you be providing the stock?, should I setup a free domain for you or you would like to do that yourself? once you answer these I can start on it right away... and he never responded. Idk maybe conny clients is the problem or something else needed a bit guidance.

I’ve noticed something interesting in this space. Some people aren’t super advanced skill-wise, but they still charge $5k–$10k just for a website. I get that design is subjective, but honestly, that feels like a lot. On the other hand, it shows me how much sales and positioning matter compared to just having skills. So, what do you think matters more when starting, to build top-level skills, or learning how to sell and land clients first?
