Skill Vs Sales
I’ve noticed something interesting in this space. Some people aren’t super advanced skill-wise, but they still charge $5k–$10k just for a website. I get that design is subjective, but honestly, that feels like a lot.
On the other hand, it shows me how much sales and positioning matter compared to just having skills.
So, what do you think matters more when starting, to build top-level skills, or learning how to sell and land clients first?
