Genuine question for ADHD entrepreneurs
Do you ever get a random wave of “I’m gonna fix my entire life TODAY” and then 40 minutes later you’re lying on the floor because you printed out an ebook about a new hobby and forgot where you left your shoelaces and wondering why you even took them out in the first place? I swear ADHD business life is just a hyperfocus, burnout, panic loop. I’m tryna fix my systems but my brain is like “nah, let’s impulsively launch a new project instead.” How are y’all staying sane today??

Oh my gosh, this hit me right in the soul. 😂 The “I’m gonna fix my whole life in one morning” energy followed by “why am I on the floor holding shoelaces?” is literally my ADHD business cycle on repeat. You’re not alone at ALL. I’ve lived in that hyperfocus → burnout → panic → overwhelm loop for years. For me, staying sane looks like giving myself permission to take one tiny step instead of trying to rebuild my whole world before lunch. Some days that’s posting once. Some days it’s answering one message. Some days it’s just breathing and trying again tomorrow. Your brain isn’t broken — it’s brilliant, creative, and wired to build big things… it just needs a kinder pace. 💛 Thanks for sharing this. I felt every word. Here for you, truly.

✨Took many deep breaths and what is present within - Tiredness - A natural pull to start the day - while also feeling a pull towards my bed haha - A little hunger ✨ 1 intention for the day - I will listen to what my body is telling me and respect that. ✨ 1 action you’re committed to - I am going to plan out my all the non negotiable for my week 🤘

Failure vs Progress
Sometimes I see the issue in front of me, and I lose sight of all the progress I've made to get this far. So my sample didn't turn out how I was expecting. And the client uses different containers than we trained on. The knowledge I've gained gives me the tools to figure out both of these challenges. They're not setbacks, they're learning opportunities. No failures, only feedback. Try again a different way, change one variable at a time, improve with each iteration. And celebrate the little wins.

Sometimes I get so focused on the problem in front of me that I forget how far I’ve already come. 💛 Today was one of those days. My sample didn’t turn out how I expected, and the client uses different containers than the ones we trained on. Old me would’ve spiraled and called it a failure. But the truth is… the knowledge I’ve gained up to this point has given me the tools to figure both of these challenges out. These aren’t setbacks. They’re learning opportunities. No failures, only feedback.👉 Try again a different way.👉 Change one variable at a time.👉 Improve with each iteration. And most importantly: celebrate the little wins.Because every “off” result is still proof that you’re in the arena, learning, testing, growing. If you’re in a season where things aren’t going “perfectly,” you’re not alone. We’re learning together in here. 🤍
💡 Hey Focus Founders!
I love how this community supports ADHD entrepreneurs in turning ideas into action with focus and purpose. I’m curious about strategies that actually stick when distractions are everywhere. 🧐 What’s one tool, habit, or mindset shift that has helped you stay focused and make real progress on your business? I’m excited to learn from your experiences and see what really works for ADHD founders! 🚀
