Big move
Ya’ll I can’t share with anyone yet but my hubby and I signed tonight to have a house built on 3 acres! This means I will have a “true” pottery studio! We will be building on the land a place for me to maybe teach classes and have people visit.

🌿 April Challenge Inspired by Nature 🌿
April is here (almost), and with it comes that little shift that gets us outside again, into the light, into the fresh air, and a bit closer to everything around us. Nature is waking up, and so is our creativity! 🌸✨ This month, we are taking our inspiration straight from nature. And yes, that includes pretty much everything you can think of. Flowers, plants, and organic shapes 🌼 Animals and all kinds of creatures 🐾 Landscapes, textures, and the little details you suddenly start noticing 🌊 Your task is to create something that reflects what you see or feel when you step outside. Or even what you think you see when you stare at a cloud for a little too long 👀 It can be anything you like. A sculpture. A functional piece. Something painted, carved, printed, or fully experimental. 🎨 There are no limits here, only your interpretation. 🌱 One important rule Your piece should be created in April. Not something you pull out of your shelf thinking, “well, this kind of fits.” Nice try! 😄 Just like spring creates something new, this is your moment to do the same. You can also challenge yourself a little. Try something you have not done before. Go for that idea that once felt a bit too tricky. See what happens if you just give it a go. And of course, you are very welcome to share your ideas, your process, your progress, or even those moments where things are not quite working yet. That is all part of it, and honestly where the good stuff happens. Let’s inspire each other, learn from each other, and maybe surprise ourselves along the way! 💛 By the end of the month, we will hopefully have a whole collection of pieces that show just how much creativity this season can spark. Now go out, look around, and then get your hands dirty! 🌿✨

Working on sculpting
Anas class
Ladies. I got back home late last night for my weekend class with Ana’s from Ana’s clay house. It was such an amazing weekend. I don’t really have any pottery friends that I can speak all things pottery except online so it was amazing to be in a room full Of ladies that don’t get bored talking pottery. Ana is such a great teacher and just as sweet as she is online. I learned so much and will continue to use what I learned this weekend and from her videos to create beautiful things. Attached are some photos of what I made and also a bowl that I bought that Ana made that I feel in love with! I hope to take another class with Ana in the future. If you have a chance don’t miss a class with her!

@Ronda Bynon you won’t be sorry Rhonda
Thank you
Thanks so much for the approval to join the group. I've been doing pottery for approximately 13 years and have never had anyone to talk with about my passion and frustration with clay and glaze. Looking forward to joining in conversations.

I'm so excited
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share something fun; I am so excited. Today I shared on my Instagram that I will be holding another open studio on Saturday, May 30th. I am going to sell my ceramics again for charity. I did this for the first time last November and it was a huge success; I raised €2,500.00 for the Ambulance Wish Foundation. It was so overwhelming, so many people came, and I received a lot of positive feedback on my ceramics, so I decided to do it again. I make enough, so that is not a problem. Due to my facial pain, I am often confined to my home, so pottery is a real outlet for me, and I am in the fortunate position that I don't have to sell it for income, so I am very grateful that I can do it for this wonderful foundation. I do find it quite nerve-wracking again, though; the success of the first time was so great. But above all, I am really looking forward to it. So if you are in the Netherlands on May 30th, come and say hello!😍
