I’ve tried something new on my YouTube channel. I just posted a long format video (79 minutes) of me glazing and telling stories. My intention was making a video that could be played in the background to keep someone “company” if they work alone in a studio like I do. It was fun to make but took longer to upload and edit. My iPad microphone had some glitches which I need to figure out. That notwithstanding, I would value your feedback on this video before I try another one. This has Mayco Sandstone on top and Spectrum Muddy Water on the bottom on hazelnut clay by Standard. This Muddy Water is so different than Mayco!

My pottery beauties.. for those that us xpression decals what size on mugs. I know this depends on the size of the mug but I am using 2” and feel they are a little too small.

I’ve been hanging onto a pie plate that I wanted to be very special. I’m not a great artist, but my niece Kara is. She is on bed rest about to deliver a baby this week. So I took her lunch and kept her company yesterday. She sat at the table long enough to letter the saying that I admired in Suza’s recent video. I used underglaze on the decoration and glazed the sides with Ancient Copper. I can’t wait to meet baby Murphy.

This was yesterday day 4 of the renovation of the new store and studio. Today Day 5 We’re all done with all walls and the white base. Roofs are all done 🙌. Tomorrow we are gonna continue with the windows, by the doors, and paint some walls with colors. Then I need to buy glue for the wallpaper. Our bucket had froze in the cleaning cabinet so I need to buy another one. I hope I’ll remember to film tomorrow. 😆 i couldn’t upload the whole video as one so needed to do 2 part.
