Heartbroken 💔
It is with a completely broken heart that I share the news that our brother, Matthew lost his 4-year battle, and we said our final goodbye to him last night 😢💔 We are still processing this immense loss, and our family truly appreciates all the love, support, and thoughts being sent our way. Please know that while I see and appreciate all your messages, I may not have the energy to reply right now, but every message will be seen and deeply felt 💝 Much love, Sarah 😢

So sorry for your loss sweet Sarah💞 Sending you lots of love and strenght💞
I am so overwhelmed🥰🥰🥰
Today was the day I had my charity sale and it was fantastic. What a crowd! And this time not only people I know, but also people who came through word of mouth, which made it extra special. I raised a total of €2,750 for the Ambulance Wish Foundation. So grateful for all the people who came to buy something from me. Especially because it was real beach weather here in the Netherlands 🥵

Personal Update 💝
Hey, I just wanted to update you all as I have been quiet on here & You Tube. I have so many of your amazing videos to catch up on & they are all waiting in my watch list. Sadly my brother is very unwell & is now living with us. We very nearly lost him a couple of weeks ago following an acute loss of blood, thankfully after receiving 5 pints of blood & 2 platelet transfusions he was well enough to be discharged so that we could spend a week at the beach in Cornwall. Most of my days are spent with him & I am keeping myself sane & distracted in the in between times with a bit of pottery & the occasional video. I am hoping to get a KO filmed today or tomorrow ready for Sunday evening 8pm UK time. In the meantime please know that I am checking in on here from time to time but sometimes I just don’t have the energy to respond. I would love to attend the group calls but by the evening I am running on empty & just don’t have the capacity to be social. Thank you for all your support & kindness, it means more than you know 💝

So much love and hugs for you Sarah, don't feel any pressure to be social. Take you're time and spend it as you wish to. Big hug, also for your family💖💞
Fire destroyed everything
We had a fire last week in our shop. It had destroyed everything. I will spend the next few weeks to months dealing with insurance. Nothing is left.

What a terrible news Louise, wishing you lots of strength and sending you a big hug.
Pottery Popup Update
The weather was cold (55F, 13c) but cooperated as the rain stopped a couple hours before the popup! My sale was 10-4 and I was still setting up at 9:50 when the first person arrived! My hubby had painted 7 spots in the barnyard to help people know where to park and those spaces were all full plus we had overflow into the field from 9:50 - 12:30pm! From 12:30-4 there were 1-3 carloads browsing and buying. I almost sold out but still have some pieces… some I’m truly surprised didn’t sell (like my little cookie cutter trinket dishes). I had 40-45 sales, many with multiple pieces. My husband snapped a few photos but I was not able to get any video as I had hoped 🤷🏻‍♀️ Highlights: - the interactions with people and talking clay in general. - Seeing those handful of people who spent close to an hour picking their perfect pieces! - Connecting with a clay sculpture artist from just down the road! - Seeing young people pick out something for Mom or friends gifts. - Seeing some good friends and neighbors stop by to support. - A lovely friend who is also a master gardener made three beautiful bouquets for my tables. Due to day job work commitments, I didn’t do everything I wanted but thanks to fellow potters on here and friends, I made the mental commitment to NOT berate myself for things I didn’t do. I’m reframing to things I’ll work to do next time: - those great labels that Audrey showed us how to do in one of her videos - Keep a better inventory and at least count pieces like Diana has shared she does for their markets. - Price pieces the day before the market I’m sure more ideas will come to mind. After the market my husband helped me pack up and he scooped me away to take me out to dinner, it was a good day filled with connections, pottery, new ideas and new beginnings 😊 (Also, I’m tired! 😂)

Wow Ona, that is amazing! So nice to read all your highlights of the day. Also very relatable; there are just so many nice and sweet people. Like your husband and your sweet friend with the beautiful flowers. Worth repeating, from what I read.💖
