Miniature Pottery Studio
I went to a miniatures museum today with my child and some friends and look at what we came across! Many kids were excited and pointed it out to me because they know I love (and teach) pottery 💗💗

My next glaze load is cooking!
Here we go. My last 3 loads have been no fun. First my elements had to be replaced, then my relays, in the last one my shelf broke and it overtired because I copied someone's schedule that used a 2200 top temp. Silly me what was i thinking, everything's new so it's going to cook hotter. I'll back to Camille Hoffmans schedule now and it's packed lol 😆 Yikes!

Fail…
I did a little experiment and failed!! 🤣🤣 Can you guess what I was *trying* to do? Hint: it’s frowned upon by most potters 😬 but I’m going to keep trying.

Who fancies a trip to NCECA 2027 to meet with potters globally?
If you've seen my recent video on YouTube I mentioned an idea I had to try to help cordinate a global meet up. Very early stages! Since so many people are interested in joining the NCECA 2027 trip, I've made a facebook group where we can all stay connected and share info. Would be lovely to have you in the group if your interested. Heres the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/728874766408152/?ref=share Please answer all three membership questions to get accepted to the group automatically. Thankyou
Throwing a quart mug!!!
I had a customer ask if I would make a quart mug with a tea strainer for her husband for Christmas. The moist clay I have thrown is 2 lb or 900 g. I started to see how I would do with such a large piece. The first 3 lb block failed. The second ended up a bowl that is a little wonky, the third made it into a cylinder. It is a little too wide, and I think I might need more clay to make it as big as she wants, but I feel really good about what I accomplished today.
