As mentioned in the title, I just delivered a project which is a 24/7 Voice AI Inbound Receptionist for trade businesses. Took me about two months working closely with my client and I implemented it using Vapi, n8n, as well as Simpro, which is a field service management software specifically for the trades. The entire system does the following: - Answers inbound calls automatically - Handles job bookings, rescheduling, cancellations - Forward calls to person in charge in case of emergencies - Answers general enquiries - Creates or updates records directly inside Simpro The goal was simple: Reduce missed calls and automate admin while technicians are on-site working. In total, my client paid me just over $2,000 for this implementation and service, it's definitely a huge win for me. Hi all, as I’m new I would like to ask how can i make my n8n flows secure? How can i protect the data from 3rd party, especially if I will use differnet AI agent?

I have a client who is looking to have some email triage agents built for a few members of their executive team. This would sort/categorize their incoming emails, route appropriately, and take some actions on specific emails like forwarding internally and/or drafting replies. I am building the system in n8n and would use a standard LLM (im thinking gpt-4o mini) to handle the "thinking". They were warned by a partner (who admittedly doesnt know much if anything about the automation/AI space) that they shouldn't do it because if they tie their email into anything "open source" they are risking sensitive information leaking. I've tried alleviating their concerns over a couple phone calls but they dont understand much of what I am discussing. Does anyone have any advice or resources on how to tackle this? How i can show in non technical terms that their information is safe? Thanks in advance!
