Empowering Students with SolidWorks: A Hands-On Learning Experience
Today marks the first day of school here in BC, Canada, and Iβm thrilled to share something special with you all! For the past three years, I've had the pleasure of teaching a craft and woodworking course to my son's class. This year, Iβm switching things up a bit and introducing something newβa beginner's course in SolidWorks! The school has generously purchased student licenses for SolidWorks, which means each student will have access to this powerful software right on their computers. My plan is to go through the SolidWorks Accelerator Course again and share what I learn from @Aryan Fallahi with the students. Unfortunately, we donβt have internet access in the craft room, so I canβt play Aryanβs tutorials (with his permission) directly for the students, but Iβm excited to teach them step-by-step! My goal is to document this journey and keep you all updated on our progress. I truly hope some of these students will discover a passion for SolidWorks and perhaps even pursue it furtherβmaybe some of them will become SolidWorks pros! And who knows? After getting jobs and gaining more experience, they might be able to afford @Aryan Fallahi 's SolidWorks Course Pro! I know this might seem like a big challenge, especially without the usual internet resources, but I believe in these students and in the value of hands-on learning. Am I crazy for trying this?..... Maybe a little! But I think itβs worth the effort. π Looking forward to sharing this adventure with all of you!
