I finished the gear box and learned a lot. This is one of the topics in Solidworks that I really want to get proficient doing. I initially deleted the “construction” circles on the gears thinking that they were useless only to have to add them back when I realized how the gears are actually connected. I enjoyed doing this project. I had trouble downloading the bearing file on this site. I seemed corrupted and would show as 1 Kb. I was able to go to the bearing website and download an actual bearing file of the right size (although it is an open-faced bearing and not a sealed type as shown in your video). I realized that I had to open up the 3 individual sub-bearing pieces and assign the metal to them in order for the bearing to be stainless steel. I made the housing transparent so you can see the inner workings. 637.72g is my final answer. Thanks for the people who got me enough points to open up this project.
