does anyone know if the course goes in depth on weldments?

The goal of the Accelerator is to teach you SOLIDWORKS fundamentals FAST and FREE (at least for now), I want to make sure it achieves this goal for every single member in the community! I finished the gear box and learned a lot. This is one of the topics in Solidworks that I really want to get proficient doing. I initially deleted the “construction” circles on the gears thinking that they were useless only to have to add them back when I realized how the gears are actually connected. I enjoyed doing this project. I had trouble downloading the bearing file on this site. I seemed corrupted and would show as 1 Kb. I was able to go to the bearing website and download an actual bearing file of the right size (although it is an open-faced bearing and not a sealed type as shown in your video). I realized that I had to open up the 3 individual sub-bearing pieces and assign the metal to them in order for the bearing to be stainless steel. I made the housing transparent so you can see the inner workings. 637.72g is my final answer. Thanks for the people who got me enough points to open up this project. Oh, by the way I answered all 4 quiz questions correctly on the first try so there's that...
