Hi, can anyone help, I need to be able to edit this model in solidworks, all I want to really do is thicken it by about 10mm I have the file as a step and also an stl, but when I try do anything it’s all in facets and each one becomes a surface. I managed to offset the front and back faces 5mm each but then I couldn’t figure out how to join them I’ve included the file for reference. I’d like to basically clean it up, smoothen it and ideally the faces to be singular surfaces so when I 3D print its a nice finish

Hello guys, I have 2016 version of solidworks at my workplace. And when I create sketches and input dimensions while creating Sketch entities it gives driven dimensions. How to make it driving? I have to delete them every time or giving it later by smart dimensions and it is slowing my sketch making speed. Please help me guys. .

Hey, I did the assembly project from the beginners module and decided before doing the assembly make the parts myself instead of using the downloadable ones. I used the drawings to create the parts but I'm not sure if I am missing something in the drawing for part 1 or if the dimension is missing but I assumed it while making it using educated guess from other dimensions around it and also used measure feature to check from the downloadable part. But just wanted to ask if they are missing or not and show what I found. For reference I made the dimension labelled A 15mm to be symmetric with the hole and B to be 4mm.
